Maybe that's enough for scoring works on the surface, but I will add some more embossing parts later.

The next step will be the details around the hangar bay!

More details around the hangar bay are coming. I might add a tiny TIE fighters into it too, but after the main craft has been completed.

Since then, I’ve been finished the details under the ship and now working on the top panel with the same method. The technic I use is to draw the lines with pencil then do scoring to “engrave” those carbon lines into the paper surface. This technic will make the lines visible clearly for decades.

Wow! This is amazing! I so would not have the patience to make something like this!

 

Now with one full view shot… so many things left to do!
scoring works is going on, covering the panels one by one.
After finish this part I would go for the details around the tiers.

The detailing is outstanding!

For a moment I thought it might light up… (Even though I know there are no components to do such a thing during the build) just reminded me of the old Star Destroyer model kit that was produced with the fibre optics and had a power cord for it.

 

So many people asking me about adding lights!
And now I'm also seriously considering about that too.. maybe the fibre optics could be the most possible way now.
But in order to do that, I might have to punch a thousands of tiny holes on the ship's body to insert the fibre optics..
Let's see if that could happen or not!

 

The main structure is completely done, from now I'll just keep adding more details. Start with these pieces around the decks.

Covering all the blank space with detailed pieces. However, after looking at the turrets again and again, now I'm really not satisfied with them! the details of it look pretty bad according to the close view photos of the original studio model I've just got lately. So... I think I will remake it soon!

Start the engine!!
4 small engines (Cygnus Spaceworks Gemon-4 ion engines) are now installed along with the details around. Some more small details inside the nozzles will be added later.

Finally! I think I'm satisfied with the rear details after spending a week on this part. From now on, I will move on to work in other areas.

Details at the rear side of the lower decks have been added today. Tomorrow I'll work on the upper decks, which should come out similar to this one.

Continued from the previous post. Now the upper decks have been done since yesterday. From today I am doing another important part to "fix an error" on the command tower which I've done incorrectly before. I'll update the progress here very soon!

As I said yesterday
Now I have fixed an error on the command tower. And an error is that I made it too detailed. (Yes, you didn't read it wrong. Too detailed!)
Previously, I was unable to find a reference image of the top view of the command tower. That made me have to "guess" the details by myself. But after I found a clear reference images just recently, I realized that what I've made was very different from what it should be!
Although some people may think that I wasted my time unnecessarily with this, but at least I want it to be as good as possible.
And now I am happy with what I've spent 2 days for!

Was it difficult to remove those sections and detailing to add the new?

 

It's a bit difficult as I would like to keep the main structure so I have to remove it carefully only the top layer. But it's so easy to put the new one on it!

 

Spent my past weekend added the expansion plates with a lot of details on it. (I have no idea what are these parts called.) These pieces were stacked underneath the edge around the ship. Including the extension part that extended from the front tip about 1.5 inches too.
