no idea. lol. i just came up with it, i do that all the time.

What about the naem Nikana? for like a girl or sumthing, Its Anakin spelt backwards, but who can figure that out unless the r like us or r really bored? and it could be shortened down to Nikki.... mmm.....

but, my opinions change alot, eg, when i was 5 i swore i would buy my boy friend if i had too, and i also dreamed of growing up to be.. well... nevermind. so... (now i am completly against that, in case ur wondering)

Interesting, I'd say. Names are always so important, and it's hard to pick the right one.

I'm happy that with a fairly common first name and a rare last name people at least know how to pronounce my first name, and I don't get mixed up with other people. I'd hate to be called Jane Doe for example. But likewise I'm glad I don't have such a weird name I'd have to be spelling it out all the time. Spelling alterations are just silly (such as Jayne for Jane, Kym for Kim).

I've had many people spell my real name wrong. How hard is it to spell Mary? You'd be amazed at all the different spellings I have in my yearbooks, and to think these people graduated too.

Yeah, Marold, know what you mean. Sometimes people amaze me with spelling of names. At least I can spell names right if not anything else. :p

I PASSED MY EMT-BASIC NATIONAL REGISTERY EXAM TODAY! :D [face_dancing]

My name is Ruth and it amazes me how many people can mispronounce it.

If I hear the words "roof", "root" or "route", I think someone is calling my name.

Oh, well, my surname's impossible to pronounce in English anyway, and I've heard so many versions of my first name Maria, although most do manage to spell it correctly...

I've been wondering the same... It's bad form to bump a thread by posting after yourself, which is why I've kept quiet. I hope it picks up now.

Nicely enough, although I've been working all summer so far. I'll take next week off. Ouf, but I need a vacation! Maybe I'll even catch ROTS again, I need my dose of Anakin. [face_love]

I'm supposed to be taking a vacation with my best friend sometime soon. Getting ready for my dancing performance and all the stress I've been under, I need a break.

Arwen, it wasn't too bad while we were down there. It was cloudy and rainy. So it wasn't as hot as I know it gets down there.

Ugh. Too.darn.hot. I didn't get to sleep last night until 4 AM, I had the AC on full-blast and it was still too hot in my room.

I feel sorry for anyone who has to work outside in this kind of weather. There's a bridge that separates my hometown from the next town, and it was found to be unstable earlier in the week. They closed the bridge and are doing emergency repairs -- all through the month of August. I can't imagine it. People are griping about how inconvenient it is (And it is -- in order to get to the next town now, you have to go through three towns and circumvent the river -- so a trip to my bank which usually took 10 minutes tops, is now 45 minutes minimum), but I can't help but feel sorry for the people doing the repairs.

    I yearn for autumn.

Bravo here. I'm just wondering if Star Gals will survive the Winter...

We're the longest running thread on the JC, over five years now. Now the question is, can we survive a sixth year?
