If a fight between two franchise, which side can win?

Care to elaborate on your question?
Anyway, just feel like throwing this out:
Star Trek: Half-dozen TV shows, about a dozen films, a number of non-connecting books.
Star Wars: Three TV shows, two more in development, six major films, several minor films, about a hundred interconnected novels, another hundred YA novels, more comics, short stories, and other tales than any human can count.
Star Trek: Spans a wedge of one galaxy, with a small bit of travel beyond these regions. A few thousand planets and other locations of interest.
Star Wars: Spans one entire galaxy, all of its satellite galaxies and stars, and reaches into other galaxies. Covers millions of planets and locations of interest.
Star Trek: Has had 300 years to develop their space technology.
Star Wars: Has had 25000 years to develop their space technology, with tens of thousands of years of story stretching back from that.
Star Trek: Very small, very limited scale, very slow transportation, very primitive technology.
Star Wars: Incredibly enormous, incalculable scale, very fast transportation, very advanced, endless surpluses of technology.
If you're talking about the size and power of the franchises itself, I'd say Star Wars wins. if you're talking about pitting the characters and such from one story against the other, I'd still say Star Wars would win.
But have anyone tried to argue with some hardcore startrek fans...these are the people who believe that star trek can won because the good guys got wanked technology and things like borg that can soon overtake star wars.
Then there is people who belive star trek can win just because they use lasers...
You asked which franchise would win, not who has the better technology!
See? You're contradicting yourself.
This is a debate that rages on for decades, with arguments on either side. I honestly think that it is up to each person to decide which they like better because the sides are pretty balanced.
Dead horse, meet stick.
