    Well, the post-ROTJ EU already did that anyway.

    Bringing balance was supposed to end all conflict? I think that's a stretch.

    Nice to hear they're staying off the Republic and keeping them as rebels.

    It baffles me that people think the role of Wedge Antilles would be so hard to write out of The Force Awakens. Or recast. It's not like Wedge hasn't already been played by multiple actors, and Denis Lawson doesn't exactly resemble "older Wedge" anyway.

    Honestly, my pipe dream for the movies is having a reference to Admiral Antilles being retired, but Commander Syal Antilles of Rogue Squadron (played by Kristen Bell) representing the family.
