    Do we know when the first issue will be released?

    I guess these are the replacements for the series ending in September.

    I am very pleased to see so much prequel-era content in the pipeline. I haven't been following the comics as closely as I have the novels, but I will definitely follow this series.

    Maul comics always deliver, but they seem to limit him to short arcs sadly. Its like they're afraid to over use him and just tease. I hope the comic is real good.

    You mean, like, 2000 and 2010 2012? There was the one DH Maul comic, two Tales stories not long after, then nothing 'til his revival in 2012. And then again nothing 'til 2014 with SOD and then Marvel Maul not long after that.

    Mostly I just couldn't remember the year Darth Maul came out. So I just said 2000-2010 cause I was lazy.

    Though there were a few comics about resurrected Maul before SoD IIRC. At least one. Eh.

    But he was also the face of the prequels before Episode II. Then he got new recognition after he was brought back. ...

    Hey. Hey. I just never get to use the "Whatever called and wants its whatever back" joke and I wanted to.

    Besides, it's Maul. Meh. Maul is like salt. He brings out the savory character flavor of Obi Wan steaks. Other than that, you're just licking salt off your fingers.

    Mmm. That sounds pretty good.

    Okay. It'll work if it's some damn good salt. Not that cheap crap.This Maul story better be some organic sea salt crap that makes me imagine eating steak when I'm licking my fingers.

    Otherwise I'm not interested.

    Lol, fair enough. I always feel like Boba Fett was the side character who got way too many comics (not that that's a bad thing, because many of them are awesome).

    Fett was. However, it was kinda justified by Dark Empire's cool reintro of Fett.

    However, in new canon since RotJ is the last word on Fett and because we now have so many cool Mandalorian characters, I kinda feel like they couldn't get away with doing a bunch of Fett comics anymore.

    They should do Jango comics. That's good crap. Write that. I'd pour that salt down my gullet.

    Jango 's story is ripe for telling in canon; there's even room for more Jango in Legends too.

    I am hoping Han will not be picked for the OT, and instead be saved for the ST. I would like it if we get a comic for him during the first act or so of TFA. Chewie should get an ANH comic. Obviously these may not be set during those stories, but I assume they will be connected at least thematically given the pairing and order for the PT
