There should be no more movies about Rey. The ST was bad enough.

 

Disagree. The quality of a new movie about Rey doesn't have to equate with the quality of the ST.

The story changes made in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga actually improve the narrative flow in some sections of the movies.

 

Agree - although I haven't played the game - just seen youtube videos on it. The comedy is hilarious.

If there was a movie(s) about Rey, she should go to the dark side (since she's already defeated "all the Sith" and she's a Palpatine by birth).

 

Somewhat agreed. While I don't think she should be destined to turn evil because of her heritage, I think it would have been interesting to see her make some bad decisions. She is presented as being a little too perfect in the ST.

Desert planets are being overused in Star Wars.

 

Disagree, I rather see a GL trilogy between ROTJ and TFA.

Agree. Grogu is pretty much the only reason my wife and daughter are excited to watch any Star Wars.

Inspired from the unpopular opinions thread:

Grogu should die on screen before the TFA timeframe (logic vs heart decision).

 

Disagree. Asides from liking Grogu, I wasn't really fond of the ST's handling of Luke's Jedi Order; it seemed redundent and wasteful waste to kill off all his students. Even if Kylo wiped out Luke's order, I don't see why they couldn't hide Grogu again. He already survived Order 66.

As things are now, it seems like Grogu is going down the path of a Mandolorian anyway.

Watto should appear in Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Darth Maul should be in the Kenobi series (latest news is that he was supposed to be in it but was written out)

 

Agreed. I think it would have been good if Obi-Wan Kenobi showed how Maul got trapped on Mallekor. The Inquisitors would be hunting both him and Kenobi, so it's not too crazy for them to cross paths again.

A live-action version of Maul and Kenobi's final duel would also be amazing. You could make it a post-credit scene in the finale.

Jar Jar Bink should appear in The Bad Batch at some point.

If you were Lucas in 2005, you’d say that a “Second Clone War” occured in between ROTS and ANH in which the Clone Troopers turned against the Empire.

They should adapt the Legacy comics into a canon film trilogy set years after the ST.

The Original Trilogy should have been given higher episode numbers so that there could be more prequels.

 

Disagree as it's the Skywalker saga and Anakin is the first Skywalker of note. (that doesn't mean they can't make Anthology movies of the old republic).
