Star Wars at EKU campus

They will be showing Star Wars: A New Hope on Wednesday, April 7th. It will be showing at 7pm and 9:20.

I also noticed that on the poster for it that it said that it was free for all faculty, staff, and students of EKU. I'm going to go see Pulp Fiction this Wednesday anyway, so I can give you more details about what to expect, and if it's free to everyone. I'll be able to give you more information after then.

Also as a side note, Raiders of the Lost Arc is playing March 16, same time.

Once again, I'll give you some more information Wednesday night.

Great! Thanks for posting the info on that so quickly. That will be a great outing, at least for members who are students. If you can, find out if non-students are able to come, as some of us are not students.

Right, well I went to see ther movie that they were showing last night, and there was no one taking tickets. I asked the person in charge, and they said that its free to anyone who comes. The flyer was just a bit misleading.
So by all apearances, and by what I've been told, there is no cost to anyone.
Which only leaves us to decide what time to meet to see it.

Unfortunately, I'll be out of town that day and won't be able to make it.

Neither showing was really crowded, but then again, a lot of people were going to go see The Pasion of the Christ, so I'm not entirely sure if that's the norm. But even if ten times as many people show up, there's still plenty of room. Of course that sentence doesn't tell you anything, mainly because there could have just been me, and 10 times as many would make ten.

At any rate, there's plenty if room in the SSB auditorium, so we won't have to worry about space constrictions.

I don't get off work until 7, so 9:20 would be good for me, unless anyone objects to staying out that late on a weeknight.

As far as I know, yes. I know Darthdork is planning on going, and I'm planning on going to the 9:20 showing after I get off work.

And from what I hear around campus, it will probably be little crowded, you might want to get here at least a little early.
