Hello and welcome to another Jordan1Kenobi game thread!

This one seems pretty fun, and could keep evolving with different objectives and play styles. But for now, I’ll keep it simple.

Imagine you’re at an art gallery bidding for your favourite art works. But instead of art you’re bidding for your favourite Star Wars characters, ships and planets!

The objective in this first run is simple: Build the coolest / most unique collection of characters you can.

In this auction, players will be presented with a list of characters each day and then outbid each other to secure who they want. Once the 24 hours is up, the players with the highest bids claim the characters. Then it’s rinse and repeat.

You will each start with one million credits, and the auction will end when all players have run out of credits. Characters will have starting bids ranging from 1,000 to 50,000 credits based on their popularity and status in the Star Wars community.

Be sure to watch your credits carefully, but if you want the better characters, you’re gonna have to pay the price! And remember, it’s about quality over quantity.

Once the auction has finished, the players, host and any others who’ve been watching the auction will rank all the collections from best to worst. A ranking system will then determine the winner and other outcomes.

I could start with 4 players if no one else signs up, but then there’d be less chance of being outbidded. So you guys can tag people you know of if you think they’d enjoy playing.

Hello there and welcome to the very first Star Wars auction! I am your host, Jordan1Kenobi.

Before we get started, I’ll refresh everyone of the basic rules. Every 24 hours a selection of characters from the Star Wars universe will be presented and it’s up to you six to make bids and outbid each other for the ones that you want. You each start with a million credits, so there’s no need to hold back! However, there is over 500 characters on my list, so it is risky waiting for someone specific to show up.

When you post your bids, state the characters and how many credits you’re offering. To outbid someone else simply post after them with the new, higher amount.
