Star Wars: Battlefront - Force Awakens Soundtrack?

The Battlefront Beta started yesterday and was noticing something interesting when you sit at the menus. It goes through many of the themes from the prequels and original trilogy, but in between there is music I've never heard in any of the movies. It sounds like Star Wars and undeniably John Williams. I've been sitting on the menu screen trying to pick up new themes lol. It would make sense to include the new soundtrack as one of the planets you'll go to is Jakku.

 

Do you mean the one that comes right after the Force theme? It starts with an oboe? (I'm pretty sure).

 

Maybe, different new themes come on throughout all the songs.

 

I have gotten the same one multiple times then lol.

But it starts with oboe, then goes into flute + oboe, then goes into an orchestral score.

Is it possible to listen to it without having to download the BETA? Like online? Because I'm not interested about Battlefront.

What is it from, Howard Hand ?

 

It's new music written specifically for the game by a composer by the name of "Gordy Haab" or something.

 

Oh, damn. That's why I was thinking "this sounds like the SW:TOR soundtrack, just more Williams-y".

 

The only piece that I've heard in the Beta that sounds closer to Williams than Haab is this one from 0:00 to 0:40 in this video, though I'm still hesitant to outright declare it as being from TFA...

whats nice is that cues for the heroes are remastered character themes. It seems legit because the Darth Vader cue is spot on.
