Man, today just got me way more pumped about next year.

 

They really need better line management.

It's going to launch the future of the franchise!

 

But it's a whole 'nother year...

We are now one year away from Celebration.

 

One year til Celebration! What's funny is that it's going to come, and we're all going to say how quickly it came around.

Also, for Galaxy's Edge Orlando opening, there will be a live stream.

Went to a con this past weekend, spoke to Tim Rose for about 10 mins... heard a lot of interesting things about RP, TOPPS and Disney quite sad actually

I will say this, he confirmed that the rule in the contract for new cast to not be able to sign at Celebration is very true. He said he refused to leave it in his

 

@Padme501st is trying to take down Celebration and prop up anti Celebration. Don't fall for her tactics.

 

I do have to wonder how much there will be at this Celebration for the Kenobi series. I guess it depends on how early next year they start filming it.

Would not being allowed to sign at Celebration potentially be in Ewan's contract because of this new series? Or is he considered a "legacy" actor like Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, etc. who were able to sign even though they were appearing in the new Disney produced projects.

 

They said the scripts for Kenobi are written, so I would imagine there's a high probability they start shooting before Celebration.

I don't think it matters what his contract says. I just can't see Ewan signing.

 

If they're free from the no-signing contract once TROS is released, Boyega is the only one of the leads from the new trilogy that I can imagine signing since he appeared at Awesome Con 2018 in D.C.

 

Yeah, him and Christie would seem to be the most likely candidates if they're not filming anything.

 

That would make quite an amazing Celebration. All of the hype surrounding each Disney+ series, plus the ST cast doing signings. Truly the sign of the new era. Makes me wonder if even Hamill himself might get overshadowed by it all.

Seriously. She's also a moderator for a Celebration 2020 Facebook group. Her influence is spreading...
