I was actually at Batuu earlier, and now I’m waiting in the hot California sun on the sidewalk because they won’t let me on convention grounds just yet. But I’m inching way my forward.

 

i remember the "number lines" was used at Cele.3 in Indianapolis, I was # 77! t(he night before the con.) but it did'nt end up that way! Motivate, what do you mean by convention grounds? the whole con. center area or just the area around the Con. center? I'm trying to see this in my head! yes, you are burning nicely in that sun!

Awww..his poor toe. A little duct tape and good as new though. If he is on stilts that must be so hard to walk around in, much respect!

 

Random but thought I would share. So I got the “Digits” app to save money (Rainy day fund and Disney trip) and basically for the Disney trip I put in when I would need the money and how much and this app saves money by taking it out of my bank account (as long as the money is there) and storing it in another account. And then whenever it’s done or I’m ready I can withdraw the savings and it goes back to my bank account.

Anyways reason I’m sharing this is for all of you going to Celebration next year. It could help you save money for it without 1. You actually having to consciously do it and 2. You don’t see the money as it’s not “there”

It sends me notices of how much is in my account daily too

 

Yeah, my bank has something similar to that. I don’t know what they call it, but allows you to set a goal and put money towards it. I’ve started putting money aside for GE/Celebration so I’m on the path.

My bank does that too. I think my Capital One credit card also has that feature.

I've been putting $100 a paycheck into my savings and figure that I'll have plenty spending money this time next year.

Pretty much. Unfortunately the bank account is in his name and he got an email today and was like “what is digit?” Ugh

 

Currently watching a Futurama episode called 'Lrrreconcilable Ndndifferences' (season 7 episode 11). Part of it takes place at a future Comic Con. There's a section of the main hall with a sign ' Next Year's Line'. Thought of this thread immediately. .

 

My dream of a future con is good line management and a well tested and working app. Flying cars will probably come first though.

 

I don't even care about the app, give me a good guide book and I'm all set. Line management is my main concern. Before reserved seating at movie theaters I would deal with thousands of people a day in all kinds of different lines. I just don't get how they mess up lines year after year.

 

Does your guide book in the future secure panel reservations?
