Completely different! Tomorrow would have been my last day in work before travelling.

And if my country wasn't still banned from coming to yours! Still hard to believe this is reality sometimes.

 

I am planning to visit GE on September 9th. Hoping that the crowd levels continue to remain low so that I can ride the attractions multiple times. I was really looking forward to visiting Disneyland’s GE during the convention, if for no other reason than to soak up the energy you get from being in a place like that with a lot of fans, but in that scenario I’d have gotten probably only get one shot at each of the rides. The last time I was at GE was last December, but as I was with company who wanted to experience the whole of Hollywood Studios I didn’t get to spend as much time in GE as I wanted.

 

I got tickets for Tenet on 8/31. It's weird seeing a movie open on a Monday, but...2020.

 

Film got a good review in one of the papers I bought today.

 

Nolan's perfect run of "fresh" rated films will continue.

My showing is "sold out" although seating is greatly reduced. When you buy seats, it would then block off all adjacent seats next, in front and behind you. So the two tickets I bought took up a total of ten seats in the theater.

 

The other review I read was pretty good as well.

 

What is that movie about?

 

I wish Celebration was doing an event like DC FanDome just put on. They did a great job!

 

You would figure the Star Wars Show has the means and the know-how to do something like that fairly easily, and that it would be the default thing to do. Makes me think that they specifically decided not to do it.

Now that I think about it, retailers could have also planned a Force Friday event on the 28th to coincide with it. That normally happens in early September anyhow.
