I could see a Three's Company type show with the Martez sisters and @ChrisLyne as the dulok. It would probably have to be animated if it's on Disney+. We don't want Chris giving young children (and adults) nightmares.

 

Sounds more like an HBOMAX show

 

There was a certain scene that was pitched, but Lucasfilm stepped in and said "absolutely not! Duloks don't do that".

 

We definitely don’t want it to become a Game of Thrones style show

 

How are these cons going to handle celebrity-fan interactions? Cons were a germ factory for guests before COVID, so I would imagine photo ops, for example, would need to be more spaces out and thus even more awkward looking.

 

Either they will require attendees have had both vaccines so social distancing can be reduced or I imagine masks will have to be worn. They could be removed for photo ops if the actor was willing.

So things are already pretty normal and should be even better by next May.

 

Let's hope by that time no restrictions will be in place! Let's not forget the food trucks! remember where they lined up last time?

 

Who knows, if ReedPop advertises awareness about the hygiene around the place (handwashing etc) and more folks carry with them hand sanitisers, it's a good way to combat all kinds of con crud.

 

They’ll probably be strict on time, meaning people can only come at their specified time. Not that that policy hasn’t been in place before, but I’m sure now it will actually be enforced. Plus they could administer sanitizer themselves before you actually meet with the celebrity.

Thing is, with Star Wars, there’s a lot of older actors who would be more at risk than any of the younger talent in a lot of other franchises. They might be a bigger concern than anybody else. Mark was as sick as someone could be back in Orlando, and he still did it all. It’s likely he won’t be putting himself out there like that again, especially after Covid.

I’m sure the likes of John, Daisy, and Oscar would be perfectly fine interacting with adoring fans. Which I think will be another big draw at the next Celebration, the first time the ST actors do signings and photo ops. It has to be.

 

I want to say both Billy Dee Williams and Peter Mayhew were booked all 5 days of Chicago, but Mayhew had canceled at like 1:00 I believe because he had gotten sick on the plane ride over, and Billy Dee may have canceled a day but I do not remember. I would have no issue if any of the older actors showed up, just hope they take precautions or not book them so many days.
