For the Professional Photo Ops at Raleigh GalaxyCon, no masks were required, although William Shatner and I think 2 other actors requested the plastic barrier between them and the attendee..

Good. I have said from the start if you make it inconvenient to not be vaccinated people will get vaccinated.

 

Looks like the Galactic Starcruiser will be opening a few months after Celebration. I expect we’ll have a panel about it. Pricing was revealed today.

I would like to try this once, but based on the schedule it looks like there wouldn’t be much of a difference going on multiple trips. The fact that the hotel is connected to GE, which is currently ST themed, means that the Starcruiser experience will have to stay ST themed until that changes.

 

I almost guarentee the bext Celebration after Anaheik will go bavk to Orlando

People thought that about Anaheim and then we got Chicago. It's really unpredictable. I certainly wouldn't be willing to bet anything.

 

Galactic Starcruiser sounds interesting, sort of expensive but if I were to go, it would be for the 2 days. as for the next Cele. I bet Orlando will be it due to Disneyworld. To me, Orlando is special because it's. clean, friendly and when there's enough rain, the plant life is beautiful! I enjoyed the frogs that were (when alive)all over the con. center area. The convention center it's self is so big! better than Anaheim and Chicago. I also enjoyed the tropical downpour last time! Orlando's the best!

 

Orlando has two major strikes against it:

1) they don't have an arena for the large panels

2) Disney isn't within walking distance

 

Welp...

 

Yeah, I thought I would go when I saw numbers being floating around originally for about $3K for a single person but $5K is probably out of the question. I was hoping they would have a smaller cabin for single people for a lower cost

 

I really, really want to go one day but the price is just eye watering. The only way we could even think about affording it would be to do Starcruiser and not do Disney. Going to Florida and not doing Disney is something I never thought I'd even consider, and there would have to be something else (like Celebration) at the same time to justify the flights as no way we could justify a 2 night trip!

Already told my travel agent to add Galactic Starcruiser to the travel plans. It’s exactly what I expected it to be so I wasn’t price shocked. However it will be a once and done thing cause it’s expensive

It's going to be disappointing when she manages to get her character killed in the first five minutes and is sent home.

 

Or we could team up to steal her Starcruiser passes like you did her VIP badge that time...

 

As for conveniences of Orlando, I forgot the requirement for large arenas for things like Cele. and distance to and from Disneyworld! an idea, too bad they cannot consolidate several buildings into one large arena, then, break it down into smaller components for other events, Then, have a shuttle system in place to and from the con. center to Disney world. disadvantage, Disneyworld would say, "Hey everyone can stay here with us, on the premises, throw in Galactic Starcruiser perks too". fans say,"Lower the price on single occupancy cabin's -then maybe"

 

Finally got my poster back from Star Wars Autograph Universe. Thats 4 people I don't have to get at Celebration...
