I see this has been fairly inactive for awhile and I'd like to change that. I'm a Charlotte native and a lifelong Star Wars fan and would love to connect with other fans in Charlotte and in real life. Eventually I want to set up the 1st ever Queen City Star Wars Society with monthly meetings and events to celebrate our fandom. I'm thinking we can really build a presence here and take part in HeroesCon as well as others talk shop on movies, books, comics, games etc. If you're interested let's connect about it and at the very least let's get this board active again.
Sooooooooo I've seen a lot of views but not a lot of replies here. Hopefully some of you live close to Charlotte and might be interested in congregating occasionally to share our mutual love of the Star Wars Galaxy. For meetings I was thinking we could showcase pieces of our collections, discuss books and some the new graphic novels, review trailers and fan made films etc. You don't have to be from Charlotte to get involved by any means I figured Charlotte is a pretty central accessible location.
