STAR WARS credit cards!

After I applied, it said I should know something within the next 30 days. I think it said they would mail something out.

And it doesn't matter how high the APR is, as long as you pay it off every month.

I thought about putting down "Yoda Jeff" as a secondary card holder, but I didn't want them to reject the application because of my foolishness.

 

Cool, I didn't know these were available until I looked here just now.

I think I'll apply for the Vader one.

 

The Vader one comes with a warning reminding you not to fall to far behind on your monthly payments "for your sake, the credit card companies are not as forgiving as I am".

 

I'm only 16 but my parents are getting 1 for their business so i get star wars points for every $ they spend! and then go spend it on StarWars.com!!!!!!!!!

can't wait to get mine so I can see the expression at TRU when I hand them a yoda card do'nt leave home without it.

 

FYI, if you don't qualify for a $5,000 (or greater) credit limit, you just get a plain card with the SW logo on it, instead of the Yoda or Vader card.

Yep. The following is a clause in the agreement:

I understand that if this application is approved for an account with credit line of less than $5,000, I will receive a Preferred card.

The "Preferred card" just has the Star Wars logo on it, and doesn't show any characters.

 

That sucks!

Why do they call it the "preferred" card when people would actually prefer to have a picture of Yoda or DV on their credit card?

got my starwars card today they said they did not make enough cards for their supply. I qualified for a yoda card instead I got a regular card with the words STARWARS written in the upper left corner big deal I want my yoda card. I would have preffered no card to this.

buster726, did you happen to get a credit limit above or below $5000? If it was below that much, then that explains why you got the "preferred" card.

the credit limit is exactly $5000 it would have been higher but I already have a card thourgh their bank maybe if I cancel that card I can get a yoda card.

 

Maybe you should call them up and ask?

 

I really hope they haven't run out of the Yoda cards already. If they have, then they greatly underestimated the number of Star Wars fans out there. Either that, or it was all just a gimmick, so that they could get more people to use their credit cards, which, in turn, would mean more profit for them.

Either way, I'd be disappointed.

 

Well, if they run out they can always order more, right?

 

Just got off the phone with the credit card company. They sent out a temp card to use and in mid-january the yoda cards will sent out. Problem is they are not made yet but they want you to start using sooner.
