...just go to the 'Official 501st C3 Photo Gallery Now Open' - there is a FANTASTIC group photo in there of all the 501st, with about 20 Darth Vaders, 10 Boba Fetts, 10 Jango Fetts, 15 Red Guards and countless others - it is awesome!

 

Thanks for those videos, Kabe! I've got a whole folder full of vids and pics from the Saga Celebration now. It will be a day long remembered . . .

I know on the "fans" video when you see Nick Gillard smoking and talking to Warwick Davis, I remember turning to Richie and saying something like "Look at Nick Gillard looking like the mac-daddy pimp", so the mumbling there was me.

 

Hi everyone, new to the boards but I've been sending news bits into TFN since the Ep 2 build up.
Great videos and pics - really enjoyed them. Brought 16 May back again. What a day. The Marathon was an incredible atmosphere, best ever. We'll never forget it. I guess we all feel the same, sharing it with other fans who care as much about SW as we do makes all the difference.

Just to let everyone know, the latest issue of Hotdog magazine (with Angelina Jolie on the cover) has a short article about celebration day, with pics of costumed fans and their reactions to the day.

Those photo agency sites seem to put up loads that don't make it into the papers or mags. So they're always worth checking after going to any premieres or star related events.

I think we should have them put up the FFLUK site

Its got an empty photo area thats for putting meet-up & big event photos in, so we might aswell use it.

Then we can view the pics long after this thread has dissapeared

Good idea. Seems a shame to just have all this in this thread rather than a proper archive. In addition, maybe TFN themselves would be interested in doing an archive section for 16 May, like they have for Celebration. Afterall, 16 May Leics Sq was the biggest event worldwide for Ep 3 opening IMO, so it should be archived for fans everywhere. Maybe an email to them suggesting it would do the trick.
