ST Star Wars Episode IX Trailer!

Some guy on another board posted this "trailer shots" today and parts of it last week. Let's see if it turns out to be true.
Could be true. Could be fanfic bs. Judge by yourself.

I hope it is true cause if it is it seems this will be real war like its need to be for the last of the saga

AT least that "leaker" made sure to keep his "leaks" realistic and vague so they could be true but I doubt it's legit.

 

Not convinced by that trailer description. Seems like mostly stuff that has been leaked already.

 

What does this mean? Kylo makes serious changes to the existing FO and renames it?

Just speculation but a possible restructuring and renaming of the organization makes it almost seem a truce is coming, rather than an outright defeat of either side in the war.

 

Maybe a typo. Not the only one in the text. I just did copy paste.

 

Okay, but it's still fun to consider the what ifs.

 

Yes, new order would be fun.

 

Some of this sounds legit, some seems s a bit off, but descriptions of trailers never do justice to the visuals.
I actually hope this is real...brings out the "Wars" in Star Wars and some shots sound very similar to Rogue One.

 

Any suggestion that Keri Russell is a KoR is a sign of bull****

There's nothing to prove otherwise, but it's very rare that a widespread fandom speculation actually comes true.

No shots of Poe and/or Finn is also weird.

 

The KOR and Ren staring at Blazing Huts could be The Village that the Kids in Resistance are from "Tehar "


Have some Faith theres no reason to suggest that she isn't a KOR (other then she's a woman ) which is some weird unquilfier to some people

 

As we know absolutely nothing yet except that
- Monaghan, Russell join the cast
- Finn, Poe, (Ackie), Rebels (e.g. Hamills daughter) and Chewbacca together on some grass land
- There will be a jungle
- There will be a desert.

Any "leak" could be fake or true at the moment.
What speaks for these trailer shots is that it does not give away anything of the story but give more or less a look and feel.
Kerry might be in or not / Finn Poe missing - Trailer 1 TLJ had Finn in coma for half a second. We do not know what the trailer / teaser will look like - if it will feature Finn/Poe or not.
So far we have about 5 leakers. Let's see after trailer 1 if some bits get confirmed.
As long as we do not get more I take all this stuff simply as food for speculation. Not more not less

 

The SPider-man: Far From Home trailer premiered today.

The Toy Story 4 trailer is suppose to premiere later this week.

Those movies have late June/early July release dates.

We're still a ways out from trailers for December 2019 movies.

 

Let's all chill a bit about the SW trailer. It's nice to theorize about the title and what might be shown, but anticipating anything soon is unrealistic. That description was surely fake.

Superbowl ain't happening unless we suddenly get an announcement from a reliable source. Meanwhile, I expect that Superbowl will give us a full length Aladdin trailer.

 

TS4 had one teaser on November/2018, and will be released on June, so the teaser was released 8 months before the release date.

SW IX is on December, so if it follows the same strategy as TS4 they could release a teaser on April/2019, which aligns with Celebration.

Maybe because of the high expectation the fans have at Celebration, they will release the proper trailer on April (during the event itself), and a teaser next month.

 

Well let's be honest. The "teasers" they've released at Celebrations have all been pretty spectacular and they were more like trailers or at least "teaser plus". The teasers we've gotten for TS4 and Aladdin in the fall were more like the first teaser for TFA. More or less announcements.

These days, "teaser" is usually interchangeable with "first trailer" anyway

 

The first trailer for Alita: Battle Angel was released on December 8, 2017...... the film has a release date of February 14, 2019.
We could get a teaser/trailer at any point.
EDIT: It seems James Cameron wanted her irises bigger, which may have moved its release date. Original release date was July 20th, 2018..... seven months after trailer #1. Although, the /Slashfilm article says the release date is February 14, 2018. It seems 20th Century Fox has juggled it a bit.
