ST Star Wars: Episode VIII Rumour and Spoiler thread - No Discussion

Here's, as promised, an updated version of the compilation. There isn't any new stuff in here because we didn't get new MSW spoilers since the last update, but I separated the Dubrovnik part from the "Finn on a secret mission" part.

I also point out that this compilation, while mostly consisting of MSW spoilers, will also contain rumours/spoilers from other websites if they seem to be accurate and are backed up by other reliable websites. For example, the Poe/Dern situation was originally reported by Latino Review, but MSW also digged into it and seems to think it is credible. Spoilers that turn out to be wrong or questionable will be removed from the synopsis. This already happened with the rumour about Luke looking for someone in the casino.

If you discover errors or issues with the synopsis, please tell me. Constructive critic and every help to make this spoiler compilation better is appreciated and welcome.

And last but not least I want to say again that any discussion about this synopsis should happen in the other rumour thread, but not here.



Dubrovnik

• Two persons make their way towards a blue-and-cobalt landspeeder.
• It seems that the duo is part of a bodyguard retinue, which appears to be captained by a reptile-like alien.
• The group is seen with a blonde woman dressed all in white, and dripping with jewellery, at the centre of their group - presumably their employer/charge.
• As well as a retinue human bodyguards and two (presumable) handmaidens, the mystery women in white is protected by another extra terrestrial - an ape-like humanoid.
• With one of the two hopping in to drivers seat to gun the engine his companion prepares to enter the car, unbeknownst to them that they are walking into a trap.
• But with the alarm being raised the two men are able to throw themselves out of harm's way, just moments before the speeder blows up.
• Showering the street with sparks and bodywork, the landspeeder explodes in a blaze of destructive glory.
• At one point, Finn and a woman (possibly KMT) are riding on a strange „space horse“.

Poe/Laura Dern

• Leia's ship is ambushed and she is blasted through space.
• Leia ends up in a coma.
• Laura Dern's character then takes over Resistance command, but makes things far worse.
• A rag-tag group of Resistance fighters have seen some battle.
• Cut and bruised, they and Poe Dameron are on the ship of Laura Derns character.
• Laura Dern is playing some sort of captain or officer.
• She tells the fighters that they are the last of the Resistance and that General Leia Organa has been gravely injured and is receiving medical attention.
• Poe then points his blaster at Dern's character and they remove the crew/techs from their stations.
• Poe takes control of the situation and becomes the interim leader of the Resistance.

Unknown First Order base

• While Finn is on a secret mission, a First Order stormtrooper glimpses Finn, but he doesn't realize it.
• The „incognito“ FN-2187 is surprised when the stormtrooper walks up behind him and slaps him on the ass.
• FN-2187 turns around and believes he's dead. He's surely going to be captured.
• The stormtrooper is elated to see his old friend from back during their First Order academy days.
• The stormtrooper congratulates FN-2187 on his promotion to Resistance infiltrator and spy.
• FN-2187 is free to go about his business to his amazement.

The Knights of Ren on Ahch-To

• There is smoke.
• A ship appears to have crashed.
• A group of men dressed as black knights with black helmets approach the smoky debris.
• All of the knights then kneel around the smoky location.
• It appears as if one of the knights perished in the crash or someone important is about to step out of it.
• Luke Skywalker and Rey are on Ahch-To just before nightfall as the sun sets in the background and it starts to rain.
• Rey's hair is pulled back. She doesn't have the vest from TFA on.
• Kylo Ren and the Knights of Ren turn up along the coast.
• Kylo Ren continues advancing towards the heroes with the Knights of Ren.
• Kylo does not wear the mask here.
• Kylo has the same cross guard saber as he did in TFA.
• Kylo's costume looks the same as in TFA.
• Rey and Kylo Ren duel one-on-one and end up fighting along the cliff face overlooking the nighttime water.
• Kylo wants his revenge after Rey disgraced him.
• The Knights of Ren go for Luke Skywalker while Rey is left for Kylo.
• Luke Skywalker engages the Knights on the beach while Kylo attempts to kill Rey.
• The first black knight has an axe but moves towards Luke but is Force pushed away to his death after being thrown through the air.
• After Luke dispatches the first Knight he ignites his green lightsaber.

Force tree's, space horses? What is this game of thrones in space. They said George Lucas was bad for the franchise! This sounds bad!!!!!! Alarms going off! You do know the whole tree thing looks like the tree from winterfell! what's next Jon Snow coming to the rescue? No original ideas anymore

I love to see that lightsaber deconstruction by Luke using the force on screen - way cool. I stand by my first reaction to hearing about force tree vision where two kids playing. The image they shot where there is a dead tree on achto shaped like the tree at winterfell. Also hearing about a space horse with Finn and another charachter riding it. gwendoline christie may be back as Phasma. GOT being injected into star wars?
