Toronto *** Star Wars Fan Day - swap meet & gaming fun ***

Got 'em, got 'em, need 'em, got 'em....
Action figures, puzzle pieces, burger king mugs, shampoo. There's a lot of Star Wars merchandise floating about and what isn't in Crazy Mike's closet is in our hands. All of us have stuff we're desperately after (Oh if only I could find those R2D2 mittens from '82) and all of us have stuff that we really would like to dispose of (The Ric Olie beach towel seemed neat when I bought it, but now...).

I've got the peanut butter, you've got the jelly, let's get together and make some sandwiches.

It's the first ever Toronto Long Line Swap Meet. We'll gather together, barter and trade portions of our collections for the stuff that we truly, absolutely want.

What's more, it's a Star Wars game day! Grab your favourite Star Wars game and bring it along. Jedi Epic Duels. The Queen's Gambit. Escape the Death Star. Heck - even if the game isn't related to Star Wars, bring it along. We'll have a rousing game of 'Kill Dr. Lucky' in the works.

I'll start to sing out the Swedish Chef's song as I barby-Q yummy burgers and dogs for us all. We'll have veggie burgers and dogs available as well, but please let me know that you'll be taking that route so I can purchase enough for everyone.

We're going to take a page out of YJN's book and adopt the 'JarJar', a general kitty from which we can pay for events like this that benefit everyone in the group. We ask that everyone throw a minimum of $5 into the jar to pay for your meal and drinks. Anything left over will be held onto for a future Toronto Long Line event.

To top off the day's events, we will head over to the AMC for a digital viewing of Attack of the Clones.

Cost: a minimum donation of $5 to the JarJar to help cover your chow

I shall most defientely be there. Booked the day off work today so i have no excuse!

 

I will have to wait and see, I should know wednesday night when i get to work. I asked one of the other night people (since she is a she, i cant say guys) to switch with me since she needs the 27th off, now I have to wait till she gets to work on monday night and leaves word on yes or know for me on my next shift, and then it has to clear the supervisor, but i really do wanna come................cross fingers
