A/V Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures

Interesting thing about the dinner table - in the film, the "rock and coral" thing is at the end of the table, small, and barely noticeable, completely surrounded by the transparent glasses. The eye is more drawn to a centerpiece, which sort of looks like one of those upright toiler paper holders or maybe a very small harp. The Galaxy of Adventures animators got rid of the toilet paper harp and made the rock and coral the centerpiece, with only a few scattered glasses scattered near it. Also, like the film, there are three bowls of something, let's say bread. The difference here is in the film, they're all the same size. The one closer to the camera seems like it's shorter than the two closer to Vader because of perspective, but when it cuts behind Vader, camera facing Han and co, you can see that the bowls are in fact all the same size. Another difference is in the film, there's a pan right behind the rock-and-coral filled with a darker substance that looks like chocolate bonbons or something, but the bonbons are missing from the cartoon, perhaps being obscured by the much larger rock-and-coral.

 

Another good short that pays homage to probably the best sequel ever. Please Disney/Lucasfilm give these guys a contract.

 

Bit disappointed that the Rise of the Resistance video doesn't follow the plot of the ride with appearances from Rey, Finn, Kylo and Hux. They don't even have the character go aboard the star destroyer, let alone experience the most leisurely escape ever.

In all seriousness though, without wanting to sound like one of those irritating "this five second clip was better than the entire ST" people, RotR did contain a lot of things I wish had made it into TRoS, such as Rey broadcasting messages of hope around the galaxy, Finn going back undercover as a stormtrooper and ordinary people being properly recruited into the Resistance.

 

I hope we get some TROS Galaxy of Adventures content...Imagine zombie Palpatine in a stylized form...That be pretty wizard.

 

The Kenobi one was apparently the last installment of Season 2.
