LA, CA Star Wars is Everywhere!

On Family Guy last night,
Carrie Fisher was the voice of Peter's boss at the Pawtucket Brewery. I did not realize it the first time around.

This weekend can not get any better.

(except the 80 MPH winds that are in the coast, and rain storm here)

 

COOL! I recorded Family Guy last night but haven't watched it yet. Now I'll listen more carefully to the episode.

 

Hate to post again-same thread-same day-posting right after my own post, but I watched this really crummy sci-fi movie on the SciFi Channel called TimeRunner.
It had one redeeming feature.
Mark Hammill played the lead.

 

I heard a radio ad for "The OC." One of the female leads was calling someone a "sexual jedi." (Wonder if she'll be expecting twins by the season finale.)

 

Supernatural:
Dean & Sam are walking through this tenament hallway looking for this dude they think sold his soul at a crossroads:

Sam: Well, he sure didn't make a deal for cash.

Dean: Yeah, but who knows, the place could be filled with gorgeous women in Princess Leia bikinis.

 

I heard a blurb from an interview with Kobe this morning. He attributed the Force to why he did so well in last night's basketball game.

 

Some guys in my digital cinema class presented their term project yesterday. They made a short action film, and at the end, the heroine's pen turns out to be a lightsaber. Everyone in class cheered. It was pretty cool.

 

I went to Honey Kettle Fried Chicken today for lunch and a guy was wearing a SW tshirt. Nothing too special but something.

 

The latest Family Guy SW spoof..very good one I must say.

That was nice APL. I often wondered that myself. Luke was sort of rude there.

 

I know. I always wondered too, adn that clip brought that idea up again. He's so smug sounding, and that rebel fighter is kinda like, whatever. noob.

BTW if you look up "Star Wars Family Guy" you can find tons of stuff they did. Among my favorite, the Sandpeople Choir.

My padawan had to bring an ornament to hang in Spanish class so we went to our local Hallmark store to get something. We ended up getting the AT-AT/Snowspeeder one. I really like it. I already had one but did not want to send mine to school. I guess we will have two Hoth battles around the Christmas tree this year.

 

They have them in a Hallmark store near my house. I bought the Luke carrying Yoda and Glinda the good in a bubble. I'll probably buy more in the future, but, don't want to overdo.

 

TLC has a fashion makeover show on Friday nights called, "What Not to Wear," hosted by stylists Stacy London & Clinton Kelly.

Last Friday they were redressing Jenny C. from Atlanta. First they watch a tape which includes the "fashion victim's" friends talking about her/his fashion faux pas.

Jenny's friends: We need you, Stacy & Clinton. You're our only hope.
Stacy: Help us Obi Wan Kenobi. You're our only hope.
Jenny's friends: You're like the Luke Skywalker & Leia of Jenny Clark
Clinton: Well, Jenny's on the stage right now. I say that Luke & Leia (Stacy starts doing lightsaber pantomime & Clinton starts Jedi mindclouding pantomime.) should go out there right now and bring her away from the dark side of fashion.

Yes, my friends, Star Wars IS everywhere.

 

I love that show -- too bad I missed that one!

Yeah, that's why I took it off my queue -- I ended up with about 17 hours of WNTW one week.

 

Haha, DB, that was great. I didn't watch Family Guy this week, figures something good would be on the week I don't end up watching.
