Another Star Wars Reference on "What Not to Wear"
Fashion victim: Kristin V., a graduating grad student with dredlocks down to her booty.

Stacy London: Frankly, I can't see anybody wearing that outfit except Jabba the hut ... if he were on drugs.

Found it as well. To me any quote is a good one but I guess you were thinking "Luke I am your father" Or, maybe you were thinking about what you have as your license plate?

I was watching the South Park movie last night. I know it's not new, but I never saw it before. Satan kills Saddam Hussein the same way Vader killed the Emperor. (but, the force lightning -- sort of -- was used by Cartmann.)

    Sunday Night's 'American Dad':

Steve, the son, dreams he is Luke Skywalker riding patrol on Hoth.
Halley, the daughter, escapes from Stan, the dad's, "pit of no return." He laments she has killed his "younglings" in order to escape.

That has gotten to be such an integral part of our culture, hasn't it. I wonder if anyone referred to going bad in some way, either joking or serious, as "going over to the Dark Side" before Star Wars? So Cool!

And today, in today's Pearls Before Swine comic strip (the best one in the papers, IMO).

    Last Thursday's 'Supernatural':
Dean (the older brother) reveals to Sam (the psychic younger brother)that before their Dad died, "the demon" told Dad that he "had plans for Sam."

Sam to Dean: "Did he know the demon's plans for me? Am I supposed to go dark side or something?"

Well the Comics page was tainted permanently after Calvin & Hobbes disappeared from its pages. It will never be the same again. :_|

On the positive side, Get Fuzzy is pretty good.

OK, Star Wars truly has been everywhere, at least on TV, this past week.

Three Obi Wan references on WHAT NOT TO WEAR:
    Fashion "victim" - Sherilee
Clinton (viewing Sherilee's tapes):Is that you?
Stacy: No, it's Obi Wan Kenobi with a sling purse

Stacy (lamenting the bland color of one of Sherilee's outfits): This outfit in Sand, Obi Wan Kenobi called and he wants his outfit back. Where's the light saber?
    Sherilee: My son has it.

Announcer: Sherilee has come a long way from Obi Wan Kenobi.
(Personally, I think Obi Wan was a pretty spiffy dresser in episodes I-III. He only dressed like an old man when he was an old man. He's allowed.)

I've really come to the conclusion that fashionista Stacy London is a closet Star Wars geek.

    PSYCH:
Sean (talking to a caged mountain lion): Simba, I am your father.
Gus: (Said something about mixing up Simba's dad & Darth Vader.)
Sean: They're both James Earl Jones.

FAMILY GUY had a Darth Vader as a meter maid who wanted a bank loan to build a Death Star.

On AMERICAN DAD the Goldfish Klaus had "a bad feeling about this."

I saw the play "Legends" with Joan Collins and Linda Evans last night and it had a great SW reference! (Premise: two former Hollywood movie stars with bad blood between them are reunited, with mixed and dangerous results, while deciding whether to do on an off-Broadway play together.)

In the first act, the crazy producer who's trying to get Joan and Linda's characters to star together tells them that the name of his new play is "Star Wars." At the end of the show, when Joan and Linda are taking their bows, SW music from Ep. IV, the award ceremony/end credits plays! Very funny stuff!

This seems like the place for this, i suppose. Or at least, I don't know of a better one.

I was at the Smithsonian in D.C. a few weeks ago. When I was going in, a security guard stopped me (i had a backpack and stuff, and didn't really want another searching ordeal), but he had seen my sw jacket, and asked me where I got it, and Jedi or Sith
