New chapter in Cal Kestis life post Fallen Order and before Survivor. More Cal and Merrin content. Its 5 years between both games and will be intresting where in timeline this is.

 

Good on Sam Maggs after Kotor got cancelled?

 

Great news. Hope for development of Cal and Merrin's romance.

 

Cool. Was wondering why the author's name sounded familiar to me even though I haven't read anything she has done and then I saw she was originally set to write the Kotor remake

I'm guessing that with them releasing this in March then the game won't be far behind.

Possibly, but not necessary. So far NU Canon in general is sadly aromantic.

Cal and Merrin will be the first jedi and nightsister couple that second game will use to its full potential.

Can't argue with that. But even in their case there is a shift towards angst, with happy moments being mostly in flashbacks.

 

Maybe not in this book, but in next game.

 

That's possible. It will all depend on what they decided to do with the second game as the story for it would all be laid out by now.

We'll see though. The Ilyana character was only mentioned in the first game when Merrin was referencing the nightsisters and it's hard to tell what the intention of the writers was.

I haven't played JFO, but I'm looking forward to this book.

 

I'm liking the way they did a comic book first and now a novel to the video game. Well an inbetween of sorts. Hopefully we can see Merrin do some great things with her magic and yep more inquisitors. I'm hoping that either in the game or novel we get to see the helicopter thing again. I know I know, but it was cool.

 

Blackwell's now have this for £17.60 preorder.

Charging is at point of despatch.

 

In short I'm assuming the RRPs of £22-25, in place of £20, will continue to become more common over the next year.

Combined with inflation forcing online retailers to reduce their discounts. Pre-ordering locks in the price now.
