    Hi all,

I'm an artist and I've been doing landscape paintings of Star Wars imagery for years now. My website is www.aaronburrart.com. Just click on "Painting Gallery" and they're under Reproductions. I also have two that are for sale on ebay, which you can link to from my site :)

Enjoy, and questions/comments/criticisms are always welcome.

    Welcome to Fan Art, AaronBurr!

Those are really fantastic paintings! You capture the essence of the location in each and every one! Very highly detailed as well. Are you using acrylics, oils? Hard to tell from those scans.

Also, any plans to do some OT locations? [face_mischief]

Great painting! But why being so scared about having your art stealed? Why that big logo on the center...

Hello Aaron and welcome to the forum!

And mMathab, unfortunately there's a lot of "art piracy" on the 'net, so Aaron is a wise person to boldly identify the work as his, especially since he's a professional. :D

These are just beautiful, Aaron--I'm especially enamored of how you use light: there's almost a "Thomas Kincade" sort of soft warmth in all of them, with the light literally caressing the landscapes. Just beautiful! You've also chosen some of my favorite landscapes to render, as well, so I can't help but like them--a lot! ;) I'll add my own encouragement for you to try some OT locations--I love all the concept art I've seen of them, and I'm certain you'd do them wonderful justice.

Again--a warm welcome to the forum and thank you for sharing your wonderful work here! :D

Doing some looking around and found this. Great artwork. You know, I'm writing a fanfic, and could use some conceptual set designs to work my stories around. It's written in two acts, and act one takes place in the Jedi Temple... then act two takes place on places never seen in the films. I'm only good at figure drawing, and I was wondering if someone would be able to produce just some concepts of different places. All you have to do is pm me for more info. Help would be nice.;)
