It would be fun to have a story about Thrawn's time stranded in another galaxy, though I do wonder if they would greenlight that yet when future shows can, and in the case of future seasons of Ahsoka, almost certainly will reveal more about the planet and everyone's experiences there.

Furore means "public outcry of anger or excitement"

So probably a Dark Times/Rebellion era book tbh

Which granted is also a relatively safe prediction in general, also that definition can technically fit any era, though I associate it far more with the Rebellion era.

Fett was expressing his hope, not stating a fact^.

Though as Reddit has pointed out, Zahn’s other novels (both SW and otherwise) predominantly show up in the “related/recommended” category, so perhaps it’s a point in favour of that. If it is another Zahn novel, I hope it’s that Chiss/Grysk project he had been pitching as opposed to Thrawn on Peridea.

I personally want a Baylan novel that has him as a Jedi leaving the order to join the Djinn Altis sect

Best estimated guess: Doctor Aphra novel covering the rest of her comics like the first one did with additional scenes and framing story.

Wild Hope: A Beru Whitesun-Lars Novel! Star Wars goes Mad Max inspired by Furiosa and shows how Beru Whitesun is truly badass in singlehandedly founding a Tatooine resistance cell that freed slaves and shipped them to savety after Sabe and her mate left for the Amidalans. Covered and veiled to not be recognised she leads this group and becomes a local hero, or in the eyes of Hutts and Imperial Garrison a villain they can't get, as in real life she is hiding behind her calm housewife self at the Lars Homestead tending to a young Luke. Luke never knew how much she and Owen truly did for the galaxy and the slaves!

Likely wild card idea: A High Republic novel that ties into Acolyte and centers on a character from the show but not the titular one.

Unlikely wild card idea: Quinlan Vos and Ventress novel post-RotS during the wild yet brief second clone war that featured Mace Windu's survival and crusade against the Emperor, Level 1313 content with Boba, Mace and else and more.

Bonus idea: A Ben Solo pov novel during the New Republic on how he learned of his Vader ancestry and the scandal of Bloodlines spread to him and the galaxy written by Claudia Gray.

    You mean, the audiobook?

Because this project appears to be an actual novel, going by the dimensions listed.

I agree the biggest sin I put on the Aftermath trilogy is writing the Jar Jar as a friendless clown in his interlude, it really does seem to be Wendig's endorsement of the rampant anti Jar Jar hate during and after the PT finished. I would love to see an actual attempt to give him a plot that isn't just a riff on "I am Pagliacci"

With the RHW link now dead and The Glass Abyss moved to October 15, unfortunately the likelihood that whatever this may have been was cancelled or postponed is rather high.

I kind of doubt it, at least not by Timothy Zahn. Zahn's recent and upcoming Icarus release schedule is jam-packed: Icarus Twin (Dec 2023), Icarus Job (Mar 2024), Icarus Changeling (July 2024), Icarus Needle (Dec 2024) and he's working on the last one (Icarus Coda, date TBD). It's not impossible, but pretty unlikely.

Zahn is also involved in the Honorverse prequels too.
