Since it’s pre-Jedi Academy Fall and creation of the Resistance and before the First Order has become like it’s ST self.

I think Disney is treating everything post Bloodline as the dawn of the ST era, while previously it’s the NR era.

Question will Jannah be retconed and revealed as Lando's daughter. ? Kinda Luke how Darth Vader was retconed ibto being Luke's father and Leia being his sister.

I kinda hope it does as it would be a resolved story for a man looking for his long lost daughter.

 

I don't because it's bad optics.

 

I wanted her to be his daughter... but now, I think they should make her not Lando's kid but rather Finn's sister.

Anakin, a foundling, grows up with a woman he is not related to until Qui Gon finds him.
When Anakin falls to the dark side, his wife births twins that are not related to him or her cause evil Sith made her pregnant via dark science with twins that are not related to each other even given male and female twins stem from two eggs that could have different fathers.
These twins then later will redeem their not-Father and find each other despite not being related.
When Leia adopts a child claiming to be Han Solo's daughter (which probably is not true so they are not related either), the not-Uncle Luke will train the kid regardless.
When said child falls to the dark side, he kills his not-Father Han.
Luke feels not responsible cause they are not related and chills on Ach-to with his new flirt and her green milk.
But Leia sends him another girl they are totally not related to which disturbs his peace.
Long story short, Luke dies, Leia dies, and Rey and Ben kiss hoping they are not related after she defeated an evil old man pretending to be related to her, which of course he totally was not at all.

With this and Secrets of the Sith coming out tomorrow it's good to see these threads getting some expanding and smoothing out.

 

I think they make either Jannah Finn's sister or Lando's Daughter to make them connected in some ways, and if not his daughter they will need to resolve that in futrure content. A Jannah live action story with Lando.

 

I mean, aside from the fact that they never mentioned any of the pertinent background information in the film, making the whole scene very weird, the ostensible point of the scene in RotS isn’t that Jannah is Lando’s daughter, but that she “could be” in the abstract sense that there are thousands or millions of families that have been separated by the First Order. If she’s literally his daughter that totally undermines the idea… not to mention those are the kind of odds that beggar belief even in a franchise that has really absurd coincidences hand-waved away as the will of the Force.

Nothing but excited. This is going to answer some questions. Maybe we will even get an Anakin cameo for Luke.

 

I'm just happy for more Lando.

 

If we are to belive in Secrets of the jedi, Anakin, Obi Wan and Yoda were with Luke until he shut off the force for himself. So we could get an Anakin force ghost cameo.
