Also I was just reading "Shadows of the Empire" which also has a Luke/Lando double act. Just something funny.

 

Luke/Lando has always been a duo I’ve loved. They make for good friends. Maybe we’ll see echoes of the Corellian Trilogy in this story.

I’m hoping that Ben has a non-negligible role in this story, but I think that TROS implies that he’s mostly ignorant about Rey’s parents and their deaths. Didn’t Sidious have to fill in all the gaps for him?

I hope they hint at how Sheev jr and ms Sheev met and if there's sometihng special about her. I love it if my theory is correct she's a Naboo noble, or a canon version of Mara.

 

Finally they will start to fill in the many jigsaw pieces that are missing between ROTJ and TFA.

Now Adam Christopher, please tell the overall story properly and with courage. I realise that you have your very specific story to write, but by this stage in the timeline, Ben Solo has well and truly been under the guidance of Luke Skywalker for some time now. So this should feature in your story more than just a passing comment; particularly given Palpatine's role in manipulating Ben essentially from birth. This is all very heavy and interconnected overall storyline plot points and there needs to be depth to this when mentioning Ben.

And some of the depth that I would like to see would be the doubts Luke is having as to him believing that he is not getting through to Ben as much as he had hoped for when he first took Ben on. You have to meet up with what is written in the ST Adam Christopher. It might be in wise to read TLJ.

 

I get excited for Star Wars again and they immediately announce a Luke and Lando post-Jedi team-up novel. Coincidence?

I think that's like five to ten years away at most. At some point an executive is going to look at Marvel What If? and Visions engagement numbers, see that they're still publishing Legends novels, and a mental light bulb is going to turn on.

I really hope we don't get a official "multiverse" I rather we not have the lets crisis every 5 years that dc has or lets just slide the timeline a few years marvel has. but thats the besides the point here

But you could do cool things with a multiverse, like have Palpatine be a fixed point with access to every timeline and branching reality. A Sheev simplicial sheaf, if you will. A simplicial Sheev.
