A/V Star Wars: The Bad Batch Series Discussion Thread

Just watched it with Portuguese subtitles to check and yeah, "kid" was translated as "girl".

 

Also how many characters in star wars who was main has been blonde and in animation at that. I kinda see this kid being like little Ani who had never left Tatooine and Omega never left Kamino..

 

Looks like one of the plants is possibly Raxus, home to the separatist parliament.

 

Also the 'kid' seems to be using a nightsister bow

 

And I am sure it only stuns....can't give a kid a blaster and have her kill in a war....

 

Just like Ezra in first two seasons of rebels.

 

New designs I think. I wish we could get a better look at them.

Wonder if they might be Pantoran or Zygerrian, since I think we see those worlds in the trailer.

Certainly an energy bow...though, other than the purple color, the design looks pretty different to me, especially the folding bit at the front.

 

Did we get V-Wings in Clone Wars? Could be the Empire chasing them.

I really do hope we get more ships out of this...preferably existing ships (Gladiator, Victory, Fantail) that have not been seen onscreen before.

 

A V-wing was seen aboard the Star Destroyer Tribunal in the final episode of the series, but we never saw them in action.

 

It's Star Wars, usually the most obvious explanation from a story viewpoint is the right one, and all convoluted deep dive lore PlagueisSnokePalpaclone stuff is not.

Jango clone in female form (I actually brought this up as a possibility when noting that this show would HAVE to have a female lead added to its cast) with some other mysterious aspect to her which will drive the storyline.

 

My biggest thing is that she's probably a Force User....That is my biggest thing.

Oh wait, so he does have the ‘skirt’ from his Kashyyyk model, neat. All he’s missing are the pauldrons and the fact he got his arm replaced with a standard one (and the colour difference).

 

I like his look here little more then what he would look in the kashyyk arc,

 

Well it looks like the series is at least 14 episodes long.

 

Years to come also backs up this being an multi season show

 

I mean it's not surprising they wanna make new young characters...Grogu, Omega...all part of the long game to have characters to go to as they phase out the older ones...Which quite frankly is a healthy thing for this franchise.

 

Some characters definitely need to be phased out I can tell you that much

 

If you want to sell toys, it certainly is.
