Well, now, after remark about children, two hooded figures are most certainly Luke and Leia.

Hope so, it is time for Vader to finally finish at least one major Crimson Dawn member.

At least one member of that crew has to survive to be in Hunters....but yeah I don't have high hopes for the others.

I think its certain one of them is Luke but the other could still be a different companion like Lor San Tekka.

Basing on previous issues, at least one of two knew Qi'ra personally.

Man, Vader really just pulled an M. Bison on Chanath, didn't he?

"The day I killed you parents was the most important day of your life. But for me... it was Tuesday."

    Issue 3
    RIP Chanath

I just want them to get to the fermata cage reveal already because I feel like whatever us is is bound to be a disappointment at this rate

also, I think it’s obvious now the two listening to the archivist are Luke and Leia “eating his young”

Is anyone able to figure out where the main series fit around this mini series yet? At the minute, I have the current main titles occurring before, except Aphra’s last couple which seem to be set after based on the Fermanta being off planet.
Anyone got anything better than that theory for the moment?

That was a cold 4th wall breaking at the end.

Only 2 issues left, I fear that the ending will be quite rushed.

    Soule’s not great with pacing.

Issue #29 of the main series makes reference to the Rebellion's Crimson Dawn supply lines drying up, which is likely due to the Empire's counterattack against Qi'ra that we see in Hidden Empire #1. So the current arc in the main series is probably running more or less in parallel with Hidden Empire. Just a guess given how much time passes in HE #1, but one that makes sense IMO.

Also, in both issues #29 and #30, Luke is distracted/distressed by ripples in the Force – probably coinciding with the Fermata Cage being activated. I think that allows us to orient the main series pretty precisely with the Hidden Empire run. Although the outfit Luke is wearing in HE #2 doesn't match his outfit from SW #29 or #30... but that's easy enough to overlook.

    Thanks both.
I think I’ve figured out Aphra’s placement, but I’m plumping for Vader & Bounty Hunters still being set before the mini.

If this doesn’t end up being King Ommin/Snoke popping out of the fermata cage and it was just a bluff, this would have all been for pretty much nothing. Issue 4 was just more “we are going to open the cage!” and Qi’ra spouting rhetoric about destiny and other motivational BS. Starting to get old.

I doubt the sith will be snoke or king Ommin. it will probably be a high republic Sith Lord if there even is one

The Archivist opens the fermata cage in the garden where Snoke likes to hang out, so if there IS something, I think it’s Snoke related, but I don’t think there’s anything

the garden is more high republic then snoke now it was the cage for the drengir that Darth krall and other sith sealed. the only thing that makes it snoke related now is that Sheev is here

Aphra already has an answer on the Sith question and yeah.. [face_sigh]
Also it hurts to say as a massive Qi'ra fan but I just don't find this event to be good like at all. WotBH was amazing and Crimson Reign was okay but since then it has really collapsed storywise

Finally things started to become epic, although an attack of the fleet under Qi'ra's control on Executor reminds of WotBH.

But I fear that the finale, with Knights of Ren and Aphra/Spark involvement, is going to be very rash.

I loved all of this. Muder and mayhem.
Darth Vader and Palpatine team up.

Well, that is what Kho thinks, but they might be mistaken

Particularly since in this issue it is established that Qira's big fleet isn't really a threat to the Executor - despite the notable lack of an escort fleet, suggesting despite how fancy it looks the Dawn fleet is less powerful than the rebel fleet - and the ground troops are even less a threat to Palpatine, Vader, and their escort of royal guards and death troopers, so the whole battle is just to buy time for the archivist to open the cage, which contradicts the idea that the purpose of the cage was to lure the Sith to the battlefield.

....Course, even if there is a sith it probably doesn't mean more than a quick lightsaber duel that Vader and Palpatine win.
.......Though it would be hilarious if a Sith does come out, looks at the situation, then nopes out to scheme from the shadows like a proper sith rather than rush into a deadly fight.

I can imagine an epilogue where Sith Eternal cultists lock up Fermata Cage (with Qi'ra trapped inside) in storage on Exegol, in similar fashion to Raiders of the Lost Ark.
