According to Amazon UK, we'll get it on the 20th April. However, we're also getting the big 4K box set on that same day:

Extra materials look to be rather....spare.

Alas, no commentary from Abrams. Would have liked one for this, unless they're planning on doing another deluxe edition later on down the line.

Feels strange - for so long home releases of Star Wars meant "take my money please!".

    OT on VHS
    SE on VHS
    Lucas Saga on DVD
    Lucas Saga on Blu-Ray.

Now? I'll just say I can watch OT in 4K on Disney+ whenever I like.

Where did it say no deleted scenes? :(

Unless you have to buy the Skywalker saga boxset for them?
    Which I would of course...

Would "26 hours bonus" include deleted scenes? I'm confused.

It doesn't say no deleted scenes but it also doesn't say that there are deleted scenes...

I know. That doesn't look promising.

I need more info on what the 26 hours comprises though...

No. Digital means Amazon, Vudu, FandangoNow, etc. where you have to rent or purchase it. It won't be on Disney+ until later this year.

Strange, that they don't do both - it would really boost the new streamer.

    Well, I can wait.

Where do you get the 26 hours from?

Click that. It says in the circle "27 discs and 26 hours of bonus footage".

Maybe that is deleted scenes but I don't want to get too hopeful.

Seems the most likely version to include it I guess.

It would be very frustrating if you needed the entire box set just to get ep9 deleted scenes

No deleted screens is tragic as well as no directors commentary. I feel like they do t really want to get into the production for this film.

Feels like this will be the last SW release in physically buy, and that is only so I have all 11 feature films rather than because the features sound appealing

I’m waiting a few years to see if they release other permutations of the Complete Saga set.

I do wonder if the lack of deleted scenes might mean that there's some type of extended cut in the works, given how short postproduction was.
