There's currently a video of a concert of film music under the red button on BBC1. Tracks include the Star Wars main theme and the Raiders March.

It should be available during the week on Sky and at certain times on Freeview.

Is that the same one that was live on Radio 3 last Friday? If so it was pretty good (I listened).

Yes, some of the music is from the Radio 3 concert and some from a Radio 5 programme that was also on Friday.

Managed to catch it today via the Red Button.

The highlight was undoubtedly Mark Kermode playing the Harmonica theme from Midnight Cowboy while the orchestra accompanied him. Some decent tracks, but it could've been longer I felt. Nice to have something different like the theme from 2046 which I'd never heard.
Always fun to get the theme from The Magnificent Seven.

A really big TV concert of film music should be done, at the BBC Proms or something. Too much of it is short with just the classics that everyone knows.
