Akakiri left a disturbing taste in my mouth, but a good kind. As for The Twins, I know a lot seemed to have issues with it, but I dug it. I liked the "Saturday Morning Cartoon" feel of it. My top three are The Duel, The Ninth Jedi and The Elder. The latter, I especially loved. Very eerie and creepy, and I loved how powerful and physically strong the Elder was portrayed in the duel with the padawan. You could see that the padawan was completely out of his element, and he knew it.

All in all, thoroughly enjoyed Visions. Much more than I thought I would. I definitely think Lucas would approve of this series. Very surprised we never got something like this when he was in charge. Seems right up his street. Hoping for more.

PS - and those figures look amazing

If you take away any background knowledge of when the episodes were supposed to be set, what do you think about this as a timeline from earliest to latest (WBW refers to World Between Worlds alternate timeline)?

    The Duel
    The Phantom Menace
    The Elder
    Attack of The Clones
    The Clone Wars
Revenge of The Sith / WBW Akakiri
    The Bad Batch
Fallen Order / WBW To-B1 / WBW Lop & Ocho
Rebels / Solo / Tatooine Rhapsody
    Obi-Wan / The Village Bride
    Rogue One
    A New Hope
    Battlefront
    The Empire Strikes Back
    Return of The Jedi
    Battlefront 2
    Squadrons
The Mandalorian / The Book of Boba Fett / Ahsoka / Rangers of The New Republic
    The Force Awakens
    Resistance
    The Last Jedi
The Rise of Skywalker / WBW The Twins
    The Ninth Jedi

I put The Duel and The Elder after Rise.

Exegol has fallen, and there are a few surviving Sith Eternal out roaming the Galaxy, along with a handful of "Jedi" with informal training from Rey and Grogu. The New Republic is a wreck. Even the First Order is in a bad way. The Galaxy is lawless.

A time for lone Samurai with good or evil intentions.

I finally got around to a second viewing of the series. First time, I watched the English dub, second time, Japanese voices with English subtitles. The English voice acting was so good that I liked the dubbed version better. I find it hard to appreciate the artistry of the animation when I have to focus on reading the lines, and really dislike the way D+ chooses to include descriptions of all the sound effects. I can hear them just fine, so don't distract me with all that, just put up the dialog and skip the commentary. I suppose they want all that to satisfy the hearing impaired or viewers who are watching it muted for whatever reason, but I wish they'd give us the option of a dialog-only subtitle.

Anyway, my opinions on the episodes haven't changed. 9th Jedi and Lop & Ocho were pilots to series that I'd happily watch. Duel and Village Bride don't need sequels, but I'd watch them. As for the rest, meh.

I just got through watching all of the Visions episodes. I've enjoyed them, for the most part. Naturally as you'd probably guess, I favored the female-centric episodes. I'd definitely watch more if there are follow-ups.

I'd love to see this Sith created as a figure. Instant buy for me.

Some more interviews with Star Wars Visions creators. Despite there already having been a fair amount of bts stuff for such small and self-contained short films, there are still some interesting new nuggets here. Especially getting F's backstory.

Just watched this series. My impression:

    Akakiri
    : pre-TPM
    The Elder: pre-TPM

    I-III & TCW
    The Bad Batch

    The Village Bride: post-TCW
    Lop & Ocho: Imperial era

    Solo
    Obi-Wan Kenobi
    Rebels S01

    Tatooine Rhapsody
: post-TCW, Boba has matured and sounds like Jango
T0-B1: bcs of the Inquisitor and his ship, post-Empire Day and pre-Twilight of the Apprentice

    Rebels S02-S04
    Rogue One
    IV-VI
The Mandalorian & The Book of Boba Fett

    The Twins
    : Imperial Remnant era

    Resistance & Disney's trilogy

    The Ninth Jedi
: post-war era, rebuilding the Jedi
    The Duel: post-First Order

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you're not being rude, here.

    That's Japanese.

It being put up by @starwarsjapan is fairly clear on that, and it, well, being in Japanese.

It says they will be adapting Mandalorian and Visions into manga's.

Neat. In its best episodes, Visions' first season was some of the most interesting Star Wars stuff since TLJ.

What's best is that more countries are joining the project. Good.

Neat, I didn't realize that. Just dug up a Tweet I found highlighting some of the other countries episodes will be coming from this season:

Getting really excited to see what comes of this. Cannot wait!

Honestly I have never seen animation outside of America or Japan/Korea. Oh and Canadian.
