looks liike some of the stories could be post TROS as some seems to have first order armor and empire armor.

I hope it's all canon and aren't afraid of some small erros in continuty like two darksider twins during the empire's reign.


Seems like you can binge it all, witch is ashame i would gladly wait for all of them, hopefully they are not too short. i see great things coming from this.

Ah so that likely confirms that the episodes will be short. Most likely.

 

Looks like Lucasfilm didn't force adherence to the timeline or broader canon, which I think was the best way to go about it. They could be canon-friendly (or at least some aspects), but they don't have to be.

 

I think they will be probarly episodes length like 20 minute episodes.

 

i think each will at least be 10 minutes.

 

This looks so damn cool! Everything from epic period drama to a light whimsical musical. If one or more of these shorts catches on with the general audience, I hope they consider adapting them for live-action.

Ever since Disney bought Lucasfilm, I've wanted to see SW run short films run before each feature (like Pixar does). That would be a great way to vet new directors/writers as well as testing out new characters/worlds. If the short falls flat - no biggie, it's just a short. But if the short is a big hit, then you can turn it into a feature or series.

 

I hope they do pixar star wars movies next come on LFL.

I'm surprised that wasn't announced soon after the sale in 2012. Seems like a no-brainer.

I guess they're finally doing a Pixar-style animated film in "A Droid Story," even though it'll be a Lucasfilm production. Maybe they'll get a director or writer who's made films for Pixar.

 

well the are rumors of LFL planning on doing animated movies, soon so who knows. I think animatd movies for star wars would be great. you don't need animated shows where a movie could tell the story.

They are bound to dub it to english. makes it more accessible to english audiences.
