Starwars:Warloard my idea for starwars game

    OK my Idea of a star wars game.

    Influences:
    X3 terrain conflict, Anno games, sins of a solar empire, stellaris.

    Title Star wars: Warlord

    Setting: Starts just after the clone wars as palatine declare a empires and continues to 30 ABY.
    It would be Legends (to some extent) and Nucanon the story depending on what you do could follow the Nu cannon, it could follow the legends post endor break up into war lord faction or it could go somewhere different....

    Genre: RTS, x4, Empire building.

    Game play: You start off as planetary governor in the outer rim or a Captain of a small imperial frigate..

    As a governor you have to develop your planet and it orbital infrastructure for the empire and try to secure the lawless sector you are in building up that that sectors economy and infrastructure. When that is done secure the surrounding sectors in the name of the empire!. Secure 2 sectors and you get the title of Moff bringing new bonuses.

    Your responsibilities:
    Develop your planets
    Build up infrastructure to build your fleet and army.
    Make sure the logistics of your production lines and military supply are secure.
    Build the composition of your fleets and order and give them orders.
    Attract major company's to your sector like KDY, Siener systems ect
    Sets policy's and laws on your planets and sector.
    Conduct missions for the emperor, forwarding the story.
    Make your sector safe for trade.
    Crack down on piracy and smuggling.
    Fight rebels and insurgents.
    You can assign admirals and generals to fleets and army s to cut down on micromanagement who will conduct the combat itself..
    Explore and expand into the unknown regions to set up a backup in case the empire falls.

    Not happy with the empire? Break away and form you own imperial faction, though you have to fight off the wrath of the empire.


    Dont like the idea of being a planetary governor? Go the military route!

    Start as a lowly captain of a mere frigate and conduct missions for your sector fleet.
    Gain prestige and get better ships.
    Slowly rise to the rank of commodore and Admiral where you can command multiple ships.
    Gain the rank of fleet admiral to control a whole sector fleet.
    Dont like being in a sector fleet or confined to sector? Transfer to a fleet elsewhere or join a imperial patrol fleet or a elite fleet like Vadors death squadron where you will be sent all over the galaxy on mission, even command a similar fleet if you reach the rank of high admiral or grand admiral.

    Both routes if you gain enough prestige and have the loyalty of you men you can grab for the imperial throne, especially if the emperor dies.

    OR
    Start a rebel cell in a sector and build it up, try and survive the imperial might.
    Rely on hit and runs and guerrilla warfare only engaging in open warfare if need be,
    Start uprisings and try and convince neutral systems to aid or even join you.
    Conduct mission from systematic senators and later the Alliance high command

    Other features:
    Moral and experience system so you units are not just throwaway item.
    Spy and espionage system.
    Build custom military bases and space station using base models.
    Heros will be granted as temporary usable units.
    Fully function dynamic in game economy.

    Of course a in depth, complicated and epic game would never be made by EA.....Ever.
