You have to focus Daft! You can't let minor distractions like employment, wife and children get in the way of what is REALLY important, like finishing the film. ;)

Did you use AE or EI for the laser bolts, Daft? And how do you animate them, if AE? Those are beauitful.

What was used for greenscreening the Storm/Nikki Trooper shot, the DaftMaul's Backyard lawn special?
No, we've moved up in the world, the dining room wall is now painted 'greenscreen green' (or Orchid Green from B&Q)

...demand a Director's cameo a la Hitchcock in Storm Ahead.
I've looked through the script, and Jabba isn't in it, so nor will I be :) Seriously though, I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in being in my films.

Any idea on expected running time, Daft?
Very short. 5-10 minutes tops. Any longer and I end up putting in to many 'cheap shots' for my liking.

Did you use AE or EI for the laser bolts, Daft?
Good old Photoshop actually. Old habits die hard. Thanks to the Ryan W tutorial I've finally started using After Effects for the Sabres, but still like to do the blaster bolts'n'stuff in photoshop.

    No, don't give us more.

How many films have you seen that could have been great, but were merely good, simply because of all the unnecessary footage? Sometimes a great film doesn't need anything more.

It is better to be left wanting, than be left thinking, hmmm, THAT part could have been cut...

Somtimes small is beautiful. (Isn't that right, Nutley? ;) )

There is now a second select picture on the storm ahead site, the direct link to which is here. Especially created for all you people who hate lens flares :p

Work on trailer A is going well, with just effects to finish (that'll be everything then) and it is currently running in at a massive.............one minute. It'll be coming out, um, soon(ish)

Yes it is. That is just a screengrab from the actual Quicktime file. As the trailer is only a minute long the filesize is currently only 10MB for that full-size version, I'm planning on making a smaller (3-5MB) version for the really bandwidth challenged. All you'll need to view them is.................the on2 codec :D

Macho, there really is no point checking out the site every day, you'll make me feel guilty for not updating it. I'll post a message if anything changes (which it probably won't now before the trailer is out - and when that is released I'm sure I'll post a thread about it :) )
