it has be somewhere warm like I heard VEGAS now that would be cool

If GL makes another appearance for gods sake get a F*c* ing... big enough room this time and have one hour session holding 45,000 ppl end of ALL problems thank you!

if you want a really good seat you arrive/ get in line early if not fussed just turn up and sit at back. so easy really.

ok back to Indiana.. why wasn't the RCA dome used? yes I heard all that bull about trails and being used but get some early planning this time christ we spent enough money...

If this hasn't already been mentioned, allow people who have purchased their badges to immediately have the opportunity to buy the store items online (kinda like the hotel code thing...so, a code for the store too) and have them shipped with your badge (make insurance required with tracking number, etc). So, this way you could have your stuff before you go to CIV. This way if someone doesn't want to purchase it online, ok, no problem, you can purchase it at the event.....aaannnnd then if someone has a problem with any line issues, well, they should be immediately reminded that they had the opportunity to buy online, otherwise, they'll either have to stand in line or be SOL and live with their decision. Just my 3 cents.

I'm definitely all for a larger archive exhibit. Would also love a longer visit from our pal, George.

Better training/information to be provided to all employees/volunteers/etc. I dunno, maybe a quick and dirty quick reference guide for them with FAQs and if they don't have the answer, cool, have a kiosk as a command center for an ask all type of question/information area that fans could be directed to.

Any/all exhibitors/dealers to be banned from purely having their booth for selling store items (we all saw this) that are marked up. The great idea of the store having multiple fronts and kiosks with specific/various items is a better way with no markup issues.

All "beauties" in costume to have their own area for pics and so forth. The thoughts on this are just mind numbing. What? What did I say? ;)

Any aspect of the convention that can be run by the Official Pix crew is a good idea definitely. They could run the whole thing and it'd be an improvement.

Other than that, we're all fine.....here.....now...thank you; how are you? ;)

I have been to all three Celebrations. I'm done. We had a great time at all of these, in spite of the frustrations we have all experienced. I agree that future cons should not be called Celebrations anymore.

I hear a lot of good things about Comic Con; think it's time to move on.

C3 was so great. C4, I really hope it happens.

What does everyone think about, the probability of there actually being a C4?

Didn't get a chance to make it out (and from what I see from people's pics, I really wish I had!!!) to C3, but I would love to make it for C4, if it were a bit closer to home than Indy.

My choices (all east-coast, sorry!) are:

DC (best mass-transit, can stay outside of town for cheap!)
Philly (closest to home!!, cheap airfares in/out from most places)
Boston (not too far from home, still can get decent hotel rates)

I left out NYC b/c hotels are expensive for the average bear, getting around is more expensive, and things are just more expensive all around.

My choice for C4 is Dallas or Chicago. All flights lead to either. ;)

And this time get the flipping store worked out! Man, no volunteers in the store. Hire professionals, do a fast track things, do something.

And all fan costume photographs should be directed to the Fan Hall. Too much of the convention was spent clogging up the hallways with people taking pictures of fan costumes.

There was a round up of Slave Leia's on Friday and I think that worked really well.

i live in nebraska, and drove with a friend to C1 and C3. C1 was cool for what i did get to see except the nightmare weather and chaos that ensued . . . C3 was wayyyy better in my opinion, much better organized except for the donutheads at the store :(
Denver was about 10 hr drive and indy was about 9 hrs - i would like indy again, nice facility and easy to navigate town and such, hope there is a C4 so we can go again now i got a costume :) omaha is out, KC might do but i dunno of their facilities, avoid denver and chicago like the plague, i vote for indy again, just not around race weekends

    just my $ .02

Amen! That place rocked! I was there with bobafett25. While we were finishing eating, Mary Franklin walked in with some of her friends. After she finished, I shimmed my way over and got a pic with her! Thanks Gary!!

She is super cool! Very easy to chat with! She asked what I liked about C3. I said EVRRYTHING...but the store. She knew exactly what I was talking about ;)

Thanks again Mary! You ROCK!! Hope to see you at C4!

    INDY! INDY! INDY! INDY!!!

Steak and Shake was just okay to me. I won't be going back. I missed white castle. I'll hit that if C4 is in Indy again. We ate "upscale" the first night at Ruth's Cris and then I saw there was a Shula's! Doh! Would've rather tried there. Bucca De Beppo's was GREAT IMO! I heard mixed reviews, but the place was great.

You don't count as many. ;) (In fact, you're small. You barely count as one! [face_clown] )

I'm totally burned out on White Castle. There's practically one on every block in St. Louis...

I loved Indy, fun town. After C3 died off for the night, walk a few blocks and hit one of the many bars/clubs and party all night with other fans, then walk 2 blocks back to the hotel.

How many towns have a Convention center/Nightlife/Hotels all within about 3 blocks of each other. Star wars Fandom took over downtown Indy cause everything was so close together and that was a great expeirence in itself.

What other cities have all this so close together besides Indy and maybe Vegas?

I would vote not to hold C4 in NYC or any other major city like that. Things get way too expensive and it's troublesome for most people like myself. I would also vote to not put the convention ON THE COAST. It would be WAY harder for probably half of the fandom to access the con to experience the greatest convention ever. I didn't get to go to any of the celebration's and am deeply disappointed as I am a HUGE SW fan. I am hoping they hold it this time in Indy or somewhere close to it. It would be better for me I'm sure others as well.

As far as photo ops with the costumers resulting in clogged halls, I apologize for the Anakin and one of the slave Leias. They were my kids. But it's not always their fault. In my son's case, he actually had to have security escort him out of the hall once or twice. Yes, it was obstructive. And we are hoping to have several mini-sets/backgrounds in the Fan Hall next time for fans to get pics with fellow-fans in costume. It would keep major photo congestion out of the hallway, and give people a better pic too. Who wants a shot with a cool character standing in front of the men's room door anyways?

I tried volunteering in my Vader costume a few times, and that too proved problematic. Whether I was doing crowd control or monitoing an entrance or an exit, people would stop and ask to take a picture with me, creating the very problem I was there to prevent. So it was frustrating for everyone.

Just wanted to say sorry, and that we are personally going to work hard to see that it doesn't happen again (at least not nearly to the degree it did).

The congestion in the hallways is one of the main reasons I'd like to see a bigger convention center for C4. There were a couple of good spots at the Indy center where folks could gather for impromptu pic sessions that did not really clog up things. However in a place with bigger thoroughfares it would not be nearly the problem. That was my only Gripe with Indy as the host City.

I think they should break them into 3 much like wizard world and do them in different parts of the country.
