Come join us for the annual Superman Celebration in Metropolis, IL! This is an open street fair with several celebrities in attendance each year. This year Dean Cain will be there as well as Billy Dee Williams and may others.

    Website is here: http://www.supermancelebration.net/

There are several hotels in the area close to the expressway. This has become one of our favorite events.

Not to be dumb here, but is this traditionally a DC-only costuming deal? I ask because I was thinking of coming out, and I've put together my Tony Stark (un-armored)... I wouldn't want to be THAT guy... LOL

All super hero and super villain costumes are welcome. "That guy" was the X-Wing pilot last year.

Doug, wear anything superhero or supervillain from any comic brand. The town square will be buzzing with Marvel and DC representation.
Most of the general public has no idea of who belongs to what comic book company. They enjoy seeing the vast amount of diverse characters.
I wore a Thor costume last year and got as much love from the crowd as some of the DC heroes.
