i can`t wait for the new supes film. from what i have seen so far, it looks like it is remaining fairly faithfull to the original. clark kent even looks like he should. my only problem with it, and i could be wrong, is lois blonde?

I am looking forward to seeing this, but in my opinion nothing will be better than Christopher Reeves as Superman.

    Who Nat?

And I agree Wiz, I will give it a chance.
But after a fw movies I will not expect too much, that way I cannot be disappointed, only impressed.
I had grand hopes for Xmen, and although a great movie I was a little let down by the minor errors and changes.

 You don't know who Richard Donner is? He's only the director of the original movie.

I've heard that Bryan Singer hasd made some changes (including the costume), so my high hopes for the film have diminished.

I didn't like how Smallville messed with the myths of Superman at first, but they tie in wonderfully with the Dick Donner films.

I only know that, cause I frequent the Superman homepage (mainly to see what's happening in Smallville season 5, which I won't see till next year), and cause I was watching the extras on the Superman DVD the other day!

And Richard Donner had a alot of say in changing the original script from campy to what it is today.

Hasn't Nicolas Cage just named his newborn son Kal-El?

    Most odd.

Hate to correct people and all but, Richard Donner directed Superman 1, but only directed parts of Superman 2 (All the scenes with Gene Hackman inc.), Superman 2 overall was directed by Richard Lester because the Producers fired Richard Donner. 1 & 2 were shot simultaniously and were supposed to be released about 4-6 months between each other but the production was running over, so they released 1 Christmas 1978.

As for Lois being blonde, she ain't. Kate Bosworth has a full mop off curly wavy brunette.

And keep watching the skis... er skies.

I have a question about superman

If he is so super how come he can't get dressed so his pants are under the rest of his clothes?

Someone in my film critique class raised this point

respect for what? His planet's lack of fashion sense? Or maybe they were his father's and he wanted him to have them when he was old enough, so he was showing them off as a sign of respect
