SW DVD release event & charity collection - Newcastle Sep 16th

Hey my fellow Northern Peeps!

Rebel Legion are having a 'small'soiree thing in costume for a 'few select friends' (oh - did I mention the thousands of Geordies too?) at Newcastle HMV on the Saturday 16th Sep to promote the release of the Star Wars double DVDs.

As Fan Force and Rebel Legion have worked together very well in the past, I would love for some of you guys to join us for a fun daytime event in the Toon!

We'll be collecting for Starlight www.starlight.org.uk , so if you are expert at rattling a collecting tin and have a smiley disposition - then you may just get the gig!

they do, but Saturday is the expected main sales day and where we can most maximise activity.

A Monday lunch time versus a Saturday in Newcastle is waaaaaaaaaaaay different....and I know which one will rock the most.

I'm working on that Sat, so I guess I'll finish @ 5pm (I don't usually work on Sat, but for time and a half and a day in lieu I'm not going to complain!)

Oh yes Mr Ewan turn up on the off chance to for a small cameio part in the film Hes the guy stood next me as the RAf guy runs past !(She swallowed it Huck line and sinker)

Did you get his Autograph She said No I call him M8 where as everyone else calls him Mr Ewan !(Ding Again )

This went on most of the afternoon (it stopped when I said Ive got his Mobile number) I over herd her Husband say afterwards of me The Bloody Title of his makes me sick!

Hey guys

I might actually be able to attend in costume as a Jedi ! I'll be cheating a little (yes Im using a karate Gi, but only for the inner tunic ) Working on an outer tunic, obi and tabbarbs as we speak. I don't have a proper Jedi belt or robe as this is a practice one for GMEX in November I'll see what I can knock together, unless anyone has a spare belt? If not thats fine, I'll just have to see how it all comes together. If its crap I'll just crew and I'll bring my force FX incase anyone is saberless on the day
