Welcome to the Galactic Senate! I am the chancellor of the exchequer, classified. This is a game of Star Wars related political debate, in which the players are representatives from all across the galaxy, representing both their world and their worlds opinions on the matters going on in the Star Wars Universe.

Here?s how it goes:

1. Choose a planet to represent. You, as your TF.N user-name, will be responsible for representing this planet and expressing your opinion as if it were the opinion of your people.
2. When an issue is stated by the Supreme Chancellor, you must first declare that you have an opinion on the matter.
3. When an issue is dealt with, and the Senate votes on the result, another issue may be brought to the Supreme Chancellor?s attention via PM, and it will be addressed to the Senate once the current matters are finished.

Three-Eight is the Archivist, and he shal post the list of current senators.

To join, simply copy the list and add your name to the bottom in the same fashion.

I am Darth Kakarot, Jedi Guardian, and head of Security, my job is to maintain order throughout the Senate.

Thread leaders- Classified, three-eight, Darth Kakarot.

Rules

1. You only control 1 planet. It can be any planet from any Era. You cannot trade planets.

2. When addressing an issue, you may argue with another Senators opinion, but keep it civil. No cussing, flaming, etc.

3. If PM?ing a topic to the Supreme Chancellor, keep it SW related (Example: Should Jedi be allowed to get married?)

4. When discussing topics, keep it serious, but fun and realistic. A wookiee could growl in response, but put a subtitle below it to make it fun.

5. Have fun in all aspects of the game.

6. Do not create Scenario's without first PMing either myself, Three-Eight, Classified, or the Supreme/Vice Chancellor. and wait for their permission.

7. If you register, you must be commited to the thread, I wan't no one-posters!

8. If you do not post atleast once every ten pages, you will be put on a seperate list, if you do not post after a week of being on that list, your position as Senator will be terminated.

9. Have fun in all aspects of the game.


Senatorial positions

Senator- Represents 1 planet, has 1 vote on any motion/law in the senate.

Archivist- Keeps the roster, counts votes and keeps record

Chacnellor of the Exchequer (CoE)- In charge of administration.

Jedi Guardian Head of Security- Head of security, keeps order

Jedi Guardian- Keeps order

Vice Chancellor- Senator chosen by Supreme Chancelor

Supreme Chancellor- Leader of the Senate, must be wise and fair.

Term lengths

Senator- permanent

Archivist (Three-Eight), yearly

CoE (Classified) yearly

Jedi Guardian head of security (Me) yearly

Jedi Guardian (whiteeagle, dark_jedi32)

SC-1 month

Vice- 1 month

SUPREME CHANCELLORS-

A supreme chancellor is elected every month. To be a candidate, one must have 3 nominations. Then, one faces a vote. The winner becomes Supreme Chancellor, chooses a vice and starts to govern on the 1st of each month. To vote, you simply PM Three-Eight (current archivist) with your vote.

The Intergalactic banking clan, have begun dealing with the leaders of other Seperatist forces, what are we to do?

 

I, as the Senator of the baked ones of Korriban, say that we need not go into this matter just yet. Perhaps we should simply wait and see what happens. The Separatists are nothing more than little green frogs, waiting to be squashed. They are of no concern.

 

Hmmmmmmmmm.. How about doing what the League of Nations did in these situations. Stop trading with the Banking Clan?

I disagree. With backing from the IBC, they will be more than you suggest.

I agree with Senator Three Eight of Illum. They should be monitered, and trading should be stopped, but we should not... move into matters so aggresively.

Cularin would like to back Three-Eight. We think that the Separatists are too much of a threat.






PS- know what we need to make this game work: Representitives from Banking Clan, Trade Fed etc...

How much does the banking clan provide to the seperatist income? If it produces more than 25% I say we form a blockade around Muunilist.

The Onderon people are skeptical of what they think is merely propaganda. What proof have we?

A blockade is out of order!

 

But, is a blockade... legal under these circumstances?

 

I meant that as a last resort if diplomacy fails or if evidence of an alliance between the seperatists and the banking clan, and Malachor agrees with three-eight that we should infiltrate and monitor the two factions.

 

What right do we have to blockade Muunilist under no evidence?

Its outrageous! It would certainly lead to war or comit the IBC to the CIS COMPLETELY

 

The Trade Federation has a blockade, and I can assure you, it is pefectly legal!

Having a Senate watch over our highest paying supporters is outrageous! I want order! Not a group attack on my Federation!

Is it outrageous? The Banking Clan has trillions of credits flowing through it everyday and could easily provide a huge threat if they join the seperatists.
