Tell Abby that you're practicing a monster voice for a costume thing.

Yes, slow recovery. This cough just wears me out and stomach muscles are hurting now :(

I would have to disagree with you, we are doing 'muscle confusion' kind of workouts so no 2 are ever the same and most of them have full body exercises so..... Now if it was one thing all the time like treadmill or sit ups I would agree with you.

The amount of pain still concerns me. Especially since you're not seeing the results you think you should.

But then, I am of the opinion that trainers are sadists and think it's fun to torture people and be cruel.

I'm still sick. So far I'm managing to keep the ginger ale down that Becca brought me, but I haven't tried eating since about 7:00....

I'm back to work now and eating solid food again. Stomach was all inside out, but doing better. Head is another story, feels like it's going to explode.
This wasn't by any means isolated to the meeting. There are quite a few at work sick, half my fb friends are sick, my bro in El Paso is sick (hmm, come to think of it he's always sick), friends in CA and FL sick. It's really a very nasty cold virus thingy spreading like wildfire throughout the country. A real epidemic... hey, a new t-shirt idea: "I survived the Martian Cold Invasion" (War of the Worlds reference).

YUK, bunch of sickies. Jeff had a stuffy nose but we didn't get anything that I know of and since Jeff went to the 501st meeting and none of them got sick he wasn't the carrier monkey.

I've been called out as being it but nobody at my work has been sick, so your opinion is invalid.

I'm sick, but not in a contagious way. And the doctor doesn't know why. Awesome.

PSA: don't consume cream that has been sitting at room temperature for a couple of hours. Cream can taste ok, smell ok, and still be so teeming full of nasty bacteria and toxics that you'll wish you could go into a coma. At least I assume it was the cream. Might also have been eggs, which while kept in the fridge, probably were getting on in age. All things suspect were thrown into the trash a couple of days ago with as much extreme prejudice as I had energy for at the time.

I was only sick-sick for a day, but I found out later that my dad entertained the idea of taking me to the hospital and the effects have lingered for almost a week now. My skin was sore to the touch for 2 days and it was 3 days before I could walk without being shaky. 5 days later I thought for sure I must be recovered... tried a mild hike with friends in the morning together with a tiny amount of easy breakfast, and didn't know if I was going to pass out or throw up first. My stomach is still not convinced about this food thing.

So the moral is - those evil bacteria are out to get you! Don't let your guard down.
