Welcome to the Blade Runner: Nexus Horizons out of character and resource thread. Here we can chat about all things Blade Runner as well as anything fun and relevant pertaining to the characters we have created or arcs we'd like to see developed and expanded upon.

I'll start.

I first watched Blade Runner (1982) in 2004 in high school. Now you roughly know my age. I was captivated by the universe Ridley Scott portrayed on film. A sci fi film noir. The moods. The scope. The uncanny feeling that a future such as that wasn't too hard to believe could actually exist.

In 2019 I watched Blade Runner: 2049 and those old feelings returned. I think some of you might not like this movie and or seen it. Fair enough. It isn't for everyone. I liked it and it brought me right back to a futuristic Los Angeles.

I hope that in creating this sci fi story that you, the reader and creator of your character, discover the beauty and mystique that the world of Blade Runner inspires and dare to dream of a future not so unlike our own....

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion... I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain... Time to die.

Bio: E.K. has been a factory worker for as long a he can remember.
