Ornen: Oh dear. I hate them security internet things. The one at my school not only blocked bad sites, but most sites! Even when the teacher reccomended a site to you very often it was blocked. They did have a policy of notifying parents if you tried to go to a blocked site, but seeing as that was most sites, they realised that they would be sending 100's of letters everyday, so gave up on it. Does that youth suppourt thingy go on your criminal record? It sucks if it does.

First encounter with Star Wars at: 12 - I saw it advertised on a video trailer. I wanted to see it soon after, when all of the 'Special Edition' hype built up.
First fanfic written: When I was 12, too - before I saw the films, actually, and I wanted to bring back Darth Vader! I still have a copy of it somewhere... it was a bizarre and naive fic!
Favorite character: Count Dooku - AKA Darth Tyranus!
Why?: Because he's just so awesome! He's a top-class Sith warrior, using all that Force Lightning and stuff, and an enigmatic former Jedi, with a past shrouded in mystery. I love his deep voice and aristocratic manner, and Christopher Lee's just my fave actor, ever! ... Yes, I'm eccentric - so sue me!
Ever written in the OT? Yeah, once upon a time... I don't really any more.
PT? I love the prequels to death, so most of the time, I only write in the PT! I have Dooku-fever as far as fanfics go ATM... I just don't have the time to write all my ideas down!
Random Fact: My internet alias name (Darth Jurious) was originally the name for a young Sith apprentice character that I made up for one of my earlier fanfics. I stole her name for myself, and the character has since been neglected.

 

crystalrain: Naw, I don't think it does. Also, I have some tips for breaking the system. If you know some shortcuts that you can use by typing something different in the url bar (Example: boards.theforce.net instead of going to theforce.net and hitting JC forums). Try it sometime. Google Images normally doesn't work at our school (no matter what you searched for, it brings it back as blocked due to 'pornagraphy'), but when I typed in google.com/images it worked fine. Just gotta know the system to beat the system...

 

Ha, our library is so funny. The librarian is always threatening us and saying that if we even check our e-mail for 2 minutes, they will know about it and suspend us from the computers. I check my e-mail every day at lunch, and I haven't been caught once. The only site that I've found blocked is Neopets. Kinda dumb, but whatever. Thankfully, these forums are accesible, along with fanfiction.net, so it's all good.

 

The internet security at my school sucks. Half the time it blocks me from reading the news. That and they've blocked all the games.

Now I'm at college less sites are blocked but there's never a free computer (I mean, 1 room of computers for over 800 students!)

But I have broadband internet at home, so that kinda makes up for it

I spent the past week posting during computer class, so our blocker is apparently not thorough.

AGE: fourteen. i'll fifteen august 28!

FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH SW: as long as i can remember. maybe four or five. my cousins were obsessed with it and i watched it at their house--the whole OT in a row. and the three of us used to go down in the basement and act out the movies differently. lol, i remember i'd be princess leia, and my cousin would put on a black helmet and be vader, and my other cousin would be luke. we used to use crowbars and baseball bats as lightsabers and fight on top of the pool table. i remember leia (me) would always beat vader. i laugh everytime i remember that... haha. wouldn't it be weird if leia beat the emperor in the movies with a crowbar instead of luke with a lightsaber?

FIRST FANFIC WRITTEN AT: age eleven... i was into gundam wing (an anime) at the time and i didn't know i was writing fanfiction until my friend introduced me to star wars fanfiction! the first star wars fanfic i've written was last year.

FAV CHAR: one: luke; two: leia; three: obi-wan kenobi; four: han; five: qui-gon jinn

WHY?: before the PT came out, my favorite characters were luke, leia, and han. i loved luke because he was the ultimate hero... and i always thought he looked like a bunny when he screamed "that's impossible!" at the end of ESB! leia, i liked, because she was the girl with the power and didn't let anyone push her around--not even han! i liked han because he was the smuggler and i always liked the rebellious characters, as well. when i first saw the PT in theatres, my favorite characters were obi-wan and qui-gon. i guess i liked them because they were the jedi--and had mad lightsaber skills. so, since i liked episode i so much, i saw it uncountable times in theatres so i wouldn't regret not seeing it enough on the big screen. i have no regrets! and i'm so happy i saw it several times!

EVER WRITTEN IN THE OT?: me and my friend are writing one together which is still in progress. heh.

PT?: yep! my favorite characters to write about are obi-wan and qui-gon, of course.

RANDOM FACTS: music is my oxygen! my favorite bands are nine inch nails and placebo. i'm absolutely addicted to ewan mcgregor movies--my favorite movie of his is velvet goldmine! and ever since i was a kid, my favorite star wars was ROTJ, but when the prequels came out, episode one took the first slot of my favorites naturally. it is still my favorite SW movie to this moment. i didn't like AOTC much because it seemed way too digitilized for my tastes.. but it was good!

I live in the sunnyist place in the whole of England. It's been proven in court. It's still not that sunny but I laugh when I watch the weather forcast and it's rain over the whole country but I look out the window and it's beautiful sunshine. Like today, the weather is lovely but I was cooped up at work learning how to fit childrens shoes and measure their hot sweaty little feet. Yuck. I need a new job.
