TENCLO Visit 31/07/2005

Wow is pretty much all I can say. Verity and I took a trip up to Lincoln today to have a butchers at the TENCLO set and meet the crew working on this very cool comedy fan film

Verity, of course, is acting in it, and I offered to lend a hand, and some kit for this great effort.

I'm not kidding, from teh DS Set, to the Tantive IV, to the Falcon and an X-Wing cockpit, it was all there. I felt like I was in the middle of Star Wars

It's looks like a good set. I like to see Fan Film makers take the time to put that little bit of effort into their productions, and this one definetly looks like some effort has been put into it.

Can't wait to see what they come up with.

She's looks like a kid with a new bike!

 

That was so cool. Although, Ive noticed a fightening resemblence to Bugs bunny in that pic. It was just the top, no stick so I was just pressing buttons. Still it was great fun.

anyone any idea for a script? (i think it should be a comedy and we should include the SPACED imaginary guns thing-that is so cool)

That's the budget for TENCLO.

 

Really? Is that all?

I was going to say that something that has some scale to a project would require at least £5k minimum - but then again, I would surmise that they actually have some of their own equipment to start off with, so that would cut down costs a little - no need to rent something if you have it already.

 

I think it comes down to having really good friends that know really good friends, and through that everyone volunteers time and equipment for free.

As I understand it most of the budget is costumes, set building etc.

 

Well, it looks interesting.

You got to give those guys credit; unlike me, at least they pulled their thumbs out of their collective arse and got a fan film made!
