Everyone remember the Star Wars exhibit at the Indiana State Museum? Well they're showing us the Star Wars love again. The Force Awakens will be playing on their IMAX screen (through March I hear). Why is this awesome and worth a road trip this Winter? This is a 2D, IMAX print copy of the film, presented in 70mm. The State Museum is only one of 9 theaters in the world that is going to show the film in this format. So if you're a cinephile this is the place to be. I know I'll be making a trip up sometime, anyone else interested?

Here's an article that explains the different formats of TFA you can see and the pluses and minuses of each and it lists the Indiana State Museum as an place to catch a superior viewing.

"And even though Abrams advocates laser, he didn’t shoot the film digitally or in 3D. He shot it on film and in 2D. So maybe you want to see the movie in that format. However, only 15 theaters in North American and 2 internationally are showing the film in 70mm film, 2D IMAX."
