1. Han Solo
Since his film series won’t continue, I think it’d work perfectly as a TV show. There’s just SO much potential there for a brilliant story. All these amazing characters with their own storylines - Han, Chewie, Lando, Qi’ra, Maul, Jabba, Enfys, and a bunch of bounty hunters could appear. I wanna see Han dealing with Maul and his crime syndicate. You can’t tease us like that and never follow up!

2. Doctor Aphra
She’d be perfect for a live action show. We’d get to see her travel the galaxy with her group of misfits hunting for treasure and uncovering ancient secrets. Indiana Jones set in the Star Wars universe, what more could you ask for?

3. Darth Vader
After reading his various solo comic series, I can definitely see he has so much potential for his own show. There’s just so much more that can be shown and explored about his character and story. Plus it’d be interesting to have a villain lead. Maybe his appearance on Kenobi’s show will lead to this.

4. Ben Solo / Kylo Ren
We need more Kylo Ren!! He’s such an amazing character, with so much of his story left untold. A prequel of his origin story leading all the way up to The Force Awakens would be perfect.

5. Qui-Gon Jinn
It’d be so cool seeing Qui-Gon in his prime during the height of the Republic going on missions around the galaxy with Obi-Wan as his student. This also leads to opportunities for other prequel Jedi to appear, including Dooku when he was part of the Order. We could even see Obi-Wan and Satine’s romance develop.

 

1. Count Dooku
Serenno politics; balancing the life of a Jedi with that of an aristocrat; slowly falling to the dark side. Plenty of plot material!

2. General Grievous
This could be a good origin story: Grievous' life as a Kaleesh warlord, ending (maybe a good Season 1 finale moment) with him suffering the injuries that will lead to his reconstruction as a cyborg.

3. Thrawn
Imagine Star Trek: TNG but Worf is a Noghri, Picard is a similarly cultured but sinister Chiss, and Data is a quippy protocol droid.

4. IG-88
The Mandalorian shows that we don't need to see a character's face in order for emotion to be conveyed, and we've seen some pretty creative droids in recent canon that have broken away from the C3PO/R2-D2 mould.

5. Darth Bane
Although Karpyshyn's Bane trilogy isn't my favourite Legends material, I think it would adapt very well to a TV show. With very minor timeline tweaking, there could also be a cameo by the actual baby Yoda!

Honorable mention - Mama the Hutt

 

1) Cantina Band members - these set the scene of the cantina. Their music is over the entire sequence. Everything goes from there. And they are sort of a standard black eyed gray alien, but they are also a jazz band and wear funky matching band costumes.

2) Hammerhead - not sure if it’s because of the action figure or how unusual he looks.

3) Chewbacca - he’s amazing, one of the best and most recognizable characters in Star Wars. He is the cantina alien we have gone on to see in 8 movies and The Clone Wars.

4) Greedo - just so iconic and a real stand out from the scene in the movie.

5) Kabe, the little bat guy. He’s more of the other strangeness that makes Star Wars so enjoyable.

1) Chewbacca - he’s one of the greatest and most be loved Star Wars characters. He’s fierce. He’s scared of monsters. He can get really angry. He also gets sad and happy. So expressive. My favorite moment in all of Star Wars could be when Chewie puts C-3P0 together in ESB. It’s a touching and funny quite moment in the movie that the film nearly comes to halt for.

2) Gungi - Wookie you going in the clone wars.

3) Tarfful - we don’t know too much about him but I like the way he interacts with Chewie and Yoda. Yoda’ s goodbye to this Wookie leader says a lot.

5) Lumpy - he’s sort of terrifying.

5) Mon Mothma - almost went with Jyn, but this weird thing happens when Mon shows up in Rogue One, it’s like a real historical figure shows up in a the movie for me.
