~The 11th Quarterly EUC Awards~ RESULTS POSTED

Good morning all. I've never actually hosted one of these deals before, nor have I really done anything of any importance with regards to EUC, or anything else As I often say, let's get this inevitable trainwreck a rollin'

Welcome to the Eleventh Edition of the EUC Awards brought to you by the Expanded Universe Senate! My name is Darth_wanderguard, and I'll be your host for this edition. "Why should I bother with the awards?" you may ask. Because: A) It's fun to nominate your friends, B) It's fun to be nominated back, and C) You could receive two weeks' worth of VIP status if you win Best Patron! That's right- whomever is voted as the EUC's Best Patron will get colors and no OPPM for two weeks. And bragging rights, too!

Our Mods GrandAdmiralJello and s65Horsey will graciously bestow these gifts when the award has been won. In cases of a tie, our two mods plus EUS Chancellor, Sinrebirth will work together to make the decision. Also, whomever receives the most votes will be granted the Golden Statue Award, and this is brought to you by the EUS.

You must read the rules. IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THE RULES YOU AND/OR YOUR VOTE MAY BE DISQUALIFIED! And I'll be a lot happier if I don't have to deal with any complications.


The RULES

1: Your host is Darth_wanderguard.

2: Only people who have been active on the JC, and in this particular forum, for at least 2 months are eligible to vote and be voted for.

3: The EUC Awards will occur four times per year. Users will have two weeks to nominate EUCers for the awards. The top three nominees will then move on to the next round to be voted on for the nominated award. Users will have one week to vote on the nominees.

4: You cannot nominate yourself. Whomever does so will be exempt from all awards.

5: Please do not spam the thread, and do not post your "aggregate tally" in the thread. Whomever does so will be exempt from all awards. The EUC Awards Host will keep the tallies.

6: Socks are not allowed. Any socks that are discovered, both the socks' and the sock-owners' nominations and votes will be thrown out. A 24hr+ ban will be issued for the violation of this rule.

7: One nominee per award and one vote per award. More than one will be ignored.

8: A user can nominate and vote only once so complete the form in your first post. (STRONGLY RECOMMENDED)

9: No changing nominations or votes.

10: Please type out the full screenname of the nominee. No initials or nicknames allowed or the host will ignore them.

11: In the event of a tie with a nomination, the poster who gained the tying nomination first, per board time, will go through to the next round. This also applies to the voting.

13: Nominee with the most votes for the "Best Patron" award in the end shall be awarded: a title and Color VIP status for 14 days.

14: In the event of a tie with an award, the EUC mods and the EUS Chancellor shall have the right to break the tie.

15: The person to collect the most awards in the end shall receive the Golden Statue Award.

16: The person to receive the Best Patron Award in the last round of EUC Awards is not eligible for the same award in the following Awards (the last person who won Best Patron was rhi-sparks).
