Thanks for the examples of the teams. So, I don't have to fret about what era my team would be from, right? I could have pilots from different ones all on the same team?

 

You can mix them up, it is always good to try and have direct links of pilots who have worked together if you can though.

 

That makes sense. Okay so, has anyone chosen their teams yet and do I PM the host my team name and pilots? I'm still not sure which elements are PM and which are in thread and I really don't want to sour anything.

 

Nope, we haven't started the picking yet. You will see it once PG posts the order, then we only pick when it is our turn. Picking can take a few weeks. The only thing that really happens via PM is sending our numbers in to the host, and he will post in the thread when he needs those (usually gives 24-48 hours for that).

A draft can take a while, it has it's slow moments and fast moments, but it is fun.

Trimaj, my bad. Maybe you did a FA swap? Not sure. Still would be fun to run those teams against each other, pretty sure mine wouldn't win that. Talon's team seems the best by far.

 

yea, it probably would be pretty fun. although i think the team i put together last draft was actually better. there are some judgements (i went back and read the whole thing... yay boredom?) that i think probably should have gone a different way. edor crespin was getting a bit more respect than normal, for one.

like i said, no biggie. it just made me curious more than anything else trying to figure out what was different. it ended up being both a trade (with you actually to get lumiya and gunn yage) and then i picked up vessery via FA.

 

I always account different levels of respect from judges as a character having a particularly good day vs a bad one. So Edor was just on a hot streak.

 

no kidding...

i still find having those two crusty old dudes on that squadron funny though.

 

so... if no one else shows up by tomorrow night i guess i'll switch over to drafting.
