Too bad that it's 5:00 a.m. where I live when the Awards start... And then I go to school and will come back at 10:00 a.m., which is 1:00 a.m. boards time.

DarkJade, could you please start the ceremony earlier, so the people not from USA could at least show up? Like around now....

Meanwhile...

At the Jedi Temple, Mistress Renata is in a dither. While thrilled to discover that she actually LOST weight over the mid-winter holidays, and her gowns still fit, she is still undecided.

The dark blue is too formal...and the black and gold isn't finished yet. Force, I've GOT to get that re-fit!

In the background, a sound of running feet. The voice of a young woman: "Would you get BACK here? Milo...stop him!"

Mistress Renata continues her ruminations. Wish I hadn't gotten rid of that white chiffon skirt. What about the green silk?

There is a crash. "GOT HIM! Milo, quick, sit on his head so he doesn't get away!"

The only thing is, I've worn it so many times before... though not to an awards ceremony. Hm. Maybe if I wore just the underdress...

"Hey! The mind tricks won't work on us, remember who you're talking to! Milo, I think we're gonna have to call in for help."

But it's sleeveless. It's so COLD outside... why can't they hold these things in summer? Or on a nice tropical planet?

A man's voice. "You wouldn't dare--!"

OOoo, WAIT! Didn't I have a VELVET skirt somewhere in here?

Another man's voice. "There's a problem here?"

Two voices in an innocent chorus. "Hello, Master Myron!"

Now what am I going to do about the hair?

Well, it's one in the morning here and I have a day job, so I'm going to dip out on the awards ceremony. I'll be with you in spirit, if not in digital text-based reality... I'm that ghostly blue Jedi number hovering in the background.
